THE presenter for Ocean FM is KILLING IT.
Well done Pete!!

You can hear it here yourself! Zabrina gets completely backed into corner. It's beautiful. It's magical.
It transcends joy.

i got a mention, too! I don't know why the guy didn't name Tonyortega.org...even though I mentioned it in my letter. ?

UPDATE:
In an on-air discussion this morning, Ocean FM said that during the course of their investigations, they discovered that the video was filmed in a studio in Donegal, close to (although not related to) the studios of Highland Radio – and that they were given the names of the two men who appeared in the video.

The full discussion – from “North West Today” with Niall Delaney – can be heard below and includes an interview (at 04:45) with anti-Scientology campaigner Pete Griffiths, plus (at 13:30) one with Irish Scientology representative Sabrina Shortt and finally (at 24:44) some (edited – to remove discussion on other topics) comments from listeners on the topic.

I see that Signs of Senility, over on Newstalk.ie last night, was so outgunned that he had to seek help in producing what reads like an official press release from the Cherch (It's so much more articulate and focussed than his usual drivel that it must have been either supplied to him or he's copied & pasted from some kind of 'how to answer critics' sheet).

Strangely it's hidden because it's in moderation, but it was possible to read it by clicking a link (but not poss to reply). Here then is the Cherch's answer to its critics (Basically an attempt to get people of other religions to gang up on us nasty SPs):

"To people in good faith: One result of this hate-campaign toward Scientology has been an increase in acts of harassment and violence perpetrated against Scientologists. Scientology churches
have been vandalized and individual Scientologists have been harassed, physically attacked and threatened with death. Thus, people of all faiths must unite in common support of not merely
members of their own religion, but of all religionists. We must be vigilant in protecting the cherished right to freedom of worship and in exposing the extremists who spread hatred and violence.
Freedom of speech is a fundamental liberty; it is one of the hallmarks of a free society. It is not, however, a license to incite hate or acts of violence through lies. And when it is abused by people whose, like those anti-Scientology individuals that are posting here, only intentions are to harm and destroy it is incumbent upon honest citizens to speak out. Moderators please take note."

The spirit of Paulette Cooper's abusers evidently still lives on in current $camatology thinking.

noseinabk • 10 years ago

Maybe copy and pasted from this:

www.religiousfreedomwatch
One result of this campaign has been an increase in acts of harassment and ...Scientology churches have been vandalized and individual Scientologists have been harassed, physically attacked and ... In Europe, right-wing nationalists have openly attacked members of other faiths and have staged violent hate rallies.

Ardent • 10 years ago

Thanks for that Graham. I simply don't believe the statement in any respect. In particular individual Scientologists receiving death threats. Squawking too loud. And, the cynical trotting out of 'free society' is simply grotesque. Tell it to those in The Hole.

valshifter • 10 years ago

freedom of worship, who money? extremist , the church is extremist. spread hatred and violence, yes the church do that, you just getting Karma back that's all. intentions to harm and destroy yep that is scientology. is all lies, do not believe them

Also, "religionists" is not a word.

Graham • 10 years ago

I think 'religionists' probably is a word, if somewhat inelegant. I've certainly seen it used as 'co-religionists' eg "I think I speak on behalf of my co-religionists when I say..."

Snippy_X • 10 years ago

Too bad, becauses Sibs remark was funny.

And finally, the "Pride of the Peninsula Radio Station" featured in the video is in in Innishowen. In Carndonagh, where the Garda station was/is, too.

http://www.inishowenlive.com

Ironice Zabrina Collins (nee Shortt) would choose Inishowen when she said this:

Sabrina Shortt, who is 28 and lives in Dublin, has vowed never to return to Donegal because of the hostility shown towards her family and the suspicion that remains. She described this weekend how her father's wrongful conviction resulted in herself and her siblings being taunted, and caused their school work and social life to suffer.

Mr Shortt's wife, Sally, said the family were shunned by their community in Inishowen: "We still live underneath a cloud. I think we are all living under this shamefulness of having had a father and a husband in prison. It is something that is very hard to come to terms with - not for me because I know Frank is innocent - but for other people. There are a lot of Doubting Thomases."
http://www.independent.ie/i...

This is an alleged letter from OSA Zabrina Collins: I can't confirm the authenticity, but here's the cite:
http://www.peoplesrepublico...

Hi Guys,

I am working with OSA to get some good PR onto online versions of the Irish newspapers. You may or may not know that Panorama is doing a 2nd take of their documentary on the Church a couple of years ago. This new documentary will be aired on Tuesday night on BBC.

There will be media coverage both before and after the airing. The majority of the coverage is expected to be on line. So therefore OSA UK have organised a counter create on this whereby certain Scientologist are selected to post comments/readers opinions/ratings etc where possible next to the articles on line.

The purpose of this is so that when public google SCN or read these articles the majority of comments/posts etc will be theta, rather then untruths.

Here is what I need you to do:

1. I will contact you with data on where a negative article is – I will probably text you as that will be quickest.

2. You log on to the site of the newspaper and go to the article. Please do this as soon as possible after getting the text from me.

3. You do not necessarily have to read all the article. Bolding mine.

4. There will be an opinions section or forum close to the article.

5. I need you to write a good roads, good weather comment here stating some true data about SCN – using a personal experience is good! DO NOT take up any entheta – grant to no beingness. It is important not to engage the opposition and get into a debate or react to provocations. You can also if you wish deviate off the subject onto a new topic. The concentration of your post is to fill the vacuum per PR Series 18 and continue to talk about expansion!!!

6. When you have done – copy and paste your post and email it back to me. If you have any questions, call me on <number removed="">. I know this is total pain in the ass guys – and postulate that the Irish newspapers don’t put anything on line so we don’t even have to bother!

THANKS GUYS!!

ML,

Zabrina

None of the information portrayed here is accurate. COB says the internet is just a fad and that it's all just a bunch of angry people who are jealous that he owns a tanning booth. Before the internet came along and ruined everything, nobody had to worry about donating money because it was beaten out of us in the comfort of our own squalor. Those were the good days. Now it's almost impossible to go spend quality time in The Hole without everybody making a big deal about it. My 8th time in The Hole was actually special. It was a Tuesday and I had been ordered to thread a regulation-size, Sea Org-issued sewing needle with a steel elevator cable. I failed. It was a case of mind over matter, and my mind was "WOG shit", as COB says. And he was right. He's a great man. So off to The Hole I went. When I got out I was sent straight to Ethics and was told that in order to save my eternity I had to carve the bust of COB on a grain of rice. A thousand times. And it had to be brown rice from the Galapagos Islands, because COB only eats rice from the Galapagos Islands. Again I failed. And not because it's quite difficult to carve a detailed image on a grain of rice with a rusty butter knife, but because I had not read the tech and did not have expensive suits like COB. COB also has fancy friends like Tom Cruise and Grant The Sales Guy. Both of those guys lift weights with COB. They're strong. I'm not strong. But COB says that if I run around this old teatherball pole for 600 hours I will be able to lift a refrigerator right over my head. Anyway, I'm getting off track. My point is that the internet is dangerous and full of false information. One time I read that someone said COB is small. That's not true. He can ride any roller coaster he wants and towers over most children under 5. Plus he has his own boxing gym and can punch like Ivan Drago. And so what if he puts tissue paper in his size four Buster Brown's to gain a little extra height? He is still a great man. And he smokes . . . which is also cool.

weapon stockpile at goldbase?

"Did Rathbun or Rinder mention anything about the stockpiles to the Feds a couple years ago when they were going through the motions of their deliberately botched “investigation” of the cult’ human trafficking claims?"

wowser! ..... http://scientologycelebrity...

also new post up
http://scientologybollocks....

Captain Howdy • 10 years ago

Old news. According to Jesse Prince a shipment of M-14's and Colt 45 automatics were delivered to Gold Base back in the early 80's or before that perhaps. I'm guessing they got them from Adnan Khashoggi seeing as how there were a number of family members in the cult.

valshifter • 10 years ago

That is scary, this would be the cult that will end it all at the last minute by applying the last run down... R2-45! as the last measure to escape the evil psycs; with the promise that you will be fully exteriorized to the great beyond forever and possibly with the promise that you will be able to meet face to face with LRH and he will be proud of you because you went thru with it, therefore receiving from the man himself his personal approval. I can see already all the mandatory musters inside the chapel to give you the last brain wash that you have to do it, or you will be left alone in the MEST universe to be tortured by the evil suppressives . once you are in the chapel: at your own discretion grab a gun and do it solo, or step behind that curtain where David Miscabiatch , Tom Cruise and Tommy Davis will be delivering the exteriorization process personally, if you are not strong enough to fly solo. he will be that merciful to help you go thru that process, not before you sing a full consent that you voluntarily are doing it and that you willfully bequest all your real state and fortune to the magnanimous church of scientology which funds will be used to erect a giant mural with all the heroic names that fearlessly desided to voluntarily go thru R2-45 on that glorious day when all will meet with man's only true friend "our founder and father Lou".

Ardent • 10 years ago

Holy crap. I had no idea. This does not make me feel happy for RPF folks, etc. both with that certifiable psycho DMV in charge.

media_lush🇺🇦 • 10 years ago

I lived in Monaco at the peak of Khashoggi's power and influence... when the Nabila. the biggest private yacht at the time was almost permanently moored there; he'd have ominous well dressed men trawl the beaches looking for young girls and invite them onto his yacht for parties... a friend of mine was offered money and the dress of her choice at a local top boutique to do this but turned it down... she was 17. As the crews for these yachts are predominantly English and being a frequent visitor to the No 1 English bar at the time (Flashman's) a lot of stories were shared. It was here I found out that all of the guest suites on Nabila had hidden cameras... rather than being an afterthought they were custom built behind false walls for easy access and replacement. A lot of famous people have been guests on that boat over the years. (And Trump bought it at a discount many years later].

Anticult • 10 years ago

Not accurate. Khashoggi himself was never in the cult, just his former wife and daughter who joined in the late eighties or early nineties and AFAIK they joined after she got divorced from him or at the tail end of their marriage. They definitely never were never in in the early eighties and Adnan Khashoggi has never had any association with the cult AT ALL, so the claim that he or his proxies were involved in selling the cult weapons is ludicrous. Whatever was going on in the seventies or early eighties was an entirely separate affair.

Jesse Prince's testimony is old news, but if you're suggesting that it was a one time thing, you're totally wrong. It is common knowledge among higher level INT workers that DM has been slowly building up a weapons cache over the years to the present day (which was accelerated after 9/11 like the linked post suggest). This is what Rathbun is probably talking about.

Captain Howdy • 10 years ago

Never said that Adnan was in and I know Tony did a story about the Khashoggi's involvement with the cult, but the one you link to isn't it. And it's Rinder NOT Rathbun that says that Khashoggi's wife was in the cult in the..1980's. Also there were other family members in the cult. I'm not saying you're wrong but maybe calm down and come back when you have all your facts straight.

EDIT: Also, maybe word clear "guessing"

Anticult • 10 years ago

Excuse me? How rude. I've got my facts straight. You should word clear "guessing" because not only is that what you did, but you also misquote me. I wrote that Rathbun in one of his latest posts mentioned that he'd be revealing facts about the weapons cache and that probably is related to the fact that DM has had an ongoing program and that may be what he's referring to since some defectors have spoken about it a few years back.

The link to Rinder was to ask MediaLush if he was talking about Lamia/Laura instead of the other ex, Soraya.

At any rate go to Rathbun's blog and scroll down past the 2 or 3 latest posts and read the one where he's promoting his latest book. He specifically mentions the weapons cache allegations and that DM is creating a potential Waco/Jonestown type situation. That's what I was referencing.

Take your own advice before you rudely attack another person. Thanks.

media_lush🇺🇦 • 10 years ago

calm down old chap... we're all on the same side here (let's hope so, ed)

Captain Howdy • 10 years ago

"I wrote that Rathbun in one of his latest posts mentioned that he'd be revealing facts about the weapons cache "

Equals this? >> "This is what Rathbun is probably talking about."

And I know I was guessing because I said I was.

LoL, you're alright, jack. Have a goodnight.

Anticult • 10 years ago

Good heavens, nice way to just come out and attack someone without even acknowledging your error or admitting that your claim isn't backed by any real evidence. All I wrote is that just like Jesse Prince's testimony (which is not verifiable or substantiated), other INT workers have also said that the weapons acquitions never stopped and DM is open to a violent confrontation with Feds like Waco/Jonestown but none of that is verifiable unless the Feds raid the compound. it's a straw man argument on your part to bash me for "guessing" since it's a logical conclusion, but have it your way. So yeah, it's not a fact there's even been a weapons cache but if you know about some concrete evidence aside from just hearsay testimony, you should share this with us.

I'll go back to lurking now and avoiding the comments section from now on.

AintMizBahavin • 10 years ago

minding both of your business i am. why are you so sensitive to it i read both you and captain howdys post and you both say the same thing in different ways. so i have a question for you.. were you in cos during that time? if not then how can you say what is or isnt unverifable? i havent found one thing Rinder or Rathburn said to be untrue , misquoted, misstated, or anything along those lines. and it looks to me that you are the one doing the attacking? where is your evidence that its unverifable?

Jimmy3 • 10 years ago

I've read this thread twice over and cannot find any "attacks" at all. It looks like a simple dispute over semantics. There was no straw man argument, and Jonestown was not a violent confrontation with the Feds.

But you should not simply give up and go back to lurking. You seem to have a lot to add to real discussion here. Why let one minor dispute scare you away? Surely, you have more to contribute, right?

Captain Howdy • 10 years ago

I didn't say anything about you guessing, i was referring to myself obviously. Is english your second language or are you tripping?

Douglas D. Douglas • 10 years ago

Anyone else here following the story that is blowing up in Ireland? If this is old news today, I am just late to the party (as usual).

Seems Missy Miscavige did not anticipate that anyone other than the Credulous Masses in the Big Tent would ever see his, uh, fibs. But his "blarney" is out for all to see, and is being roundly denied by some of the very sources he cited. Ocean FM Radio, in particular, is peeved. He showed an alleged radio interview, in a studio labeled with their name. But Ocean FM has said the following:

"The video, played live to a huge audience at the New Year’s Eve Scientology event in Clearwater, Florida, includes a clip of an ‘interview’ being conducted with a Scientologist in the Ocean FM studios.

"However, the studio is NOT that of Ocean FM, and the ‘presenter’ conducting the interview is not known to anyone at Ocean.

"Ocean FM was alerted to the matter by a listener, who suggested that it was unfortunate that Ocean would be involved in such a video.

"Management at the radio station is now investigating the matter."

This is all covered over at Rinder's blog today (and maybe has already been hashed out here already...) along with the lulzy news that they are SHOOPING again! This time it is the Dublin mission. I went ahead and checked this one out myself. The video shows a fairly neat 'n tidy building with a large Scientology poster in the window, and a painted vertical sign above. The real location (readily available in Google Earth street view) shows the reality-- a hair dresses on the ground floor, and nondescript windows above.

Will Dear Leader ever learn...?

Ardent • 10 years ago

Love the reality check DDD! The more public outrage over these flip egregious lies the bastards tell, the better. Thanks for sharing. I also noticed a painfully obvious Sci-shoop not long ago, but neglected to mention it. Damn. But they have a penchant for lies and don't seem to care if they're obvious. They really live in Bizzarro world.
