Not long ago I was in Los Angeles being treated at the L.A. Veterans Hospital in Brentwood as a disabled veteran. After my V.A. hospital treatment I was returning to an apartment I shared with another veteran when I was approached by a gang of illegal aliens speaking Spanish -- which I understand since I speak Spanish. After the gang bangers made racial slurs about me the leader of the gang said "get the white guy" in Spanish and I braced myself for what was coming and fought back until they stabbed me... robbing me and leaving me for dead on the side of the street. I was later discovered by the L.A.P.D. and rushed to the hospital where thanks to a black doctor my life was saved.

Recently I was at a Department of Veterans Affairs Hospital on Presidents Day and was trying to get some medication I was out of at the "partially" open pharmacy that was technically closed for the holiday -- they were open for hospital patients and emergency room only! I told the pharmacist who was filling my prescription I received from an emergency room doctor that with our new VA secretary appointed by Obama recently and the VA secretary's open door policy and willingness to do anything for veterans he should open the pharmacy on holidays so veterans that run out of medication can get a refill. She said they would have to hire more people to do that.
I replied "I am all for the Federal government hiring more American citizens." She got mad and indignant and said, "why hire American citizens?" And questioned the authenticity of my families American Heritage which includes ancestors of mine who were North American Indians. She was antagonistic because she was a naturalized citizen from China with a thick accent. I told her that my allegiance and patriotism was with protecting American citizens and that we couldn't protect anyone in the world who decided to enter the country illegally because of the illegality of their entry into our country and due to overpopulation. She still acted indignant and mad at me and continued the argument over my families right to be called citizens at of all places a Veterans Hospital speaking to a 100% disabled American veteran wearing a baseball cap that said "VIETNAM VETERAN" on it. These immigrants sure are arrogant that is all I have to say!!! Because the answer I gave to her question was my unquestioning allegiance and patriotism to American citizens and I meant no offense to her or whatever her motives as a naturalized citizen were for employing non-citizens at the Department of Veterans Affairs -- after all she was at a VA Hospital where patriotism runs high especially with 100% service connected disabled vets!!!
