I am very close to this story. ..the way it was reported was very weird. For instance, I own the house that was set on fire. The ex boyfriend was staying there for awhile. The children in the home were not his, the mother and children were residents of the home. Kayla used to babysit these children and they loved her...and she was willing to kill them. The youngest is 3 months old. The breakup was 2 months ago, none of us had any idea that she was stalking him or that she would ever do anything like this. Her grandmother told me that kayla only has an IQ of 62.

Thanks for letting us know. Sorry about your house. Her alleged IQ could explain how this all happened. Poor impulse control and things being very poorly thought through are hallmarks of a low IQ. Below 70 one is considered "mentally retarded".

She was actually REALLY good to the kids before the breakup happened. She loved them and they loved her. She was kind of a dimbulb and could barely read, but she was kind to them. I think she really did SNAP....because we were all so surprised. She did a few kinda crazy things, like tried to change his address without his knowledge, and she tried to report me and the father of the kids in the trailer for some bogus thing, saying we were running a tattoo shop out of the house...and the police told us afterward that they had pulled her over a week before for suspicious activity on the street behind the trailer. So it seems like it was premeditated and she was watching all the comings and goings in the house. Maybe she snapped because of the Facebook status, but he didn't have anyone with him in the home at the time, maybe she thought the girl was there. As to why he would date her, well, that's a long and private story that would make this OH SO MUCH MORE juicy, but as a friend, I can't.

That's how nuts operate. She thought that 2 months was time enough for everyone to forget about their breakup. But all the while she had all that hatred festering inside of her tiny little mind and her dark, moldy heart. She felt comfortable standing by watching the flames. So sorry you lost your property. Kayla has no regard for anyone or anything. Life must really suck for her especially since her IQ is at 62.

I would believe the low IQ. This crime was not well planned nor did she run very far. Though one might also conclude she was watching her master work for pleasure. Thank goodness they got the kids out..

Have you ever seen Girls Gone Wild, where young girls show their breasts to the camera. Well, I heard a comedian comment there was no show called Women Gone Wild, and I said yeah there is it's called Snapped.

It reminds me of when the mom burned down her trailer with her two young kids in it, then called the dad so he could hear their tortured screams. Those sociopathic pieces of shit will treat their kids/Others kids, as a possession. something they can use as a form of revenge against their ex or whoever. At least it sounds like they were able to get out of the burning trailer .

My family is a bunch of hillbilly rednecks of the highest order. They bought a piece of scrub land out in the high desert, which has no plumbing or water access of any sort, and build themselves a shanty on it out of an old fifth-wheel trailer and, I dunno, house parts I guess.

They also have at some points been somewhat of redneck royalty, owning several trailer homes throughout the impoverished county. Well, they decided to bring one up to their property and get it set up to live in (again, no water to be considered).

Summer is a dangerous time out there, and forest fires are common. To prevent against this danger, many people do 'controlled burns' on their land to burn out the dry brush, so if a fire rolls through, it doesn't have the fuel to wipe out all of their stuff.

My step dad, having never done any sort of burn, much less a controlled one, took it upon himself one fine spring day to burn out the dry grass on the property. Didn't take much more than a breeze to get completely out of control... and under that damned trailer.

WHOOSH! lol, that fucker burned to cinders and twisted metal. The fire department came and put it out. They almost fined him big-time for it, but he got out of it by saying that he was going to donate it to the fire department for training purposes anyway.

Those things are basically made out of kindling and cotton.
