Do you really think the best way to celebrate David Bowie is to try to ban music?! He was an innovator who was influenced by a huge amount of musical forms (including hip hop - 'Black Star' was influenced by Kendrick Lamar's last album), plus was not averse to doing a few covers himself. All you have done is to show the world quite how thick and ignorant you are.

I've been a Bowie fan since I was 16 back in the 90s. I have dozens of his albums on CD and vinyl from all stages of his career. I am pretty damn dedicated and have been for 20 years. Honestly, can you really imagine Bowie encouraging people trying to ban covers of his songs?! Anyone who signs this petition has a pretty messed up idea of what Bowie was all about.

Bowie would be turning in his grave if he found out about this. Limting people on what kind of music they make just because you don't want it to happen? Most of you probably haven't even listened to Kanye's music and just go off of whatever you've seen on the internet or media. If you truly support this, you've probably never listened to Bowie either. He embraced any and all kinds of music.
