We can argue about the proliferation of government which again is the "progressive" modus operandi. The very idea of a bill of rights and constitution offends "progressives" because these things were put in place to purposely limit government. "Progressives" want unlimited government.

I would prefer the LEO's leave the masks on them until the reach room (or ambient) temperature. Then when the mask is removed everyone watching can say ..."I KNEW IT WAS HIM/HER ALL ALONG!!!

In some states it's illegal to protest in a mask - i.e. per New York Penal Law 240.35(4) it is illegal to congregate in public with two or more people while each wearing a mask or any face covering which disguises your identity. More state laws like this may help.

I like your sentiments, but actually doing that raises the complications of blowback: these brownshirts, with the MSM as their megaphone, will claim "persecution" and "violation of their 1st Amendment rights," just for starters, as their actual violence is downplayed and/or ignored. A good start is made with the arrest of the guy who wanted to stink-bomb the Deploraball.
