Putting the argument on display isn't for his sake, it is for the people who thought his argument might be rational. "Necessity" is always the excuse of tyrants.

One argument is supported by history.....millions of people are alive that would not be due to vaccines. As for guns....they are inanimate. It's the willful actions of people that determine the safety or non safety of guns. Comparing the two shows your position on the issue has no merit.

Daniel Barger. Bit by bit, line by line, is thus the law formed. Also the you really don't want to get into all the deaths caused by guns verses death caused by disease argument because then you have once again pushed a civil rights issue into the realm of a public health issue.
What you are arguing is that the first amendment has no relationship at all to the fifth amendment because they address two separate issues. But both are set down to guarantee civil rights. If you are too stupid to see that an attack on one leads to an attack on the other, that sounds like either short sightedness or stupidity. I'm sure there is at least another option there, but I'm going to guess it is not very flattering either.
