Yes, it seemed like a "good idea" at the time, because the liberals were sure they were going to win.... and thus no one would ever know. But a funny thing happened on the way to the Clinton coronation, the American people had a different idea about who would be the better president.

If one could have been a fly on the way in the days after the election, I'm sure it would be stunning to hear the conversations which were taking place in the upper levels of the liberal ivory towers. It must have been pure panic and chaos...and richly deserved.

No doubt, they did everything they could to attempt to cover their tracks before Trump took office, but with what has come to light so far, it appears that there are so many moving parts, that it was all but impossible to cover over everything.

I have a feeling the fun is just getting started. I would suspect that there are quite a few people who are sweating big time, and perhaps thinking, "maybe if I tell them what I know about Obama's and Hillary's involvement, I can cut a deal".

I'm sure that same thought has crossed Obama's and Hillary's minds a time or two as well. Just a hunch.

It's still hilarious to me that basically the entire media still brushes this story off as "Trump's dumb tweet." Obviously some very unethical surveillance of American citizens were being carried out by the Obama admin (it shouldn't surprise anyone that Obama was spying on Trump)

But yet, all we get is people laughing about it, like it's a big joke, and Trump has no evidence to support it. When really, there's far more evidence to support that tweet, than there is to support the Trump/Russia love affair.

Now I can't stand Trump. He's definitely a narcissist that has a very hard time admitting fault, and not giving very obvious false statements. The problem is, this isn't one of them, but that's how it's continued to be reported. Meanwhile, you'd think Russia is secretly controlling the entire U.S Government and political system.

I honestly don't know how anyone could believe, that the guy who came down his escalator to tell us all that Mexicans are rapists, is somehow the mastermind behind a full scale collusion effort with the Russian government, to gain access to the Presidency, hurt the U.S, and help Russia. It's madness. I voted for Obama twice, but this spying stuff disgusted me in 2013, and it still does to this day. The fact the democrats losing makes them push their narrative of excuses in anyway possible, while ignoring an extreme breach of ethical integrity like this surveillance scandal, is shameful and pathetic.

He definitely implied that Mexico was sending rapists, but some of them are good people. I'm not a liberal, so I don't get so offended by all their sensitive BS. I'm just trying to point out, if you read my entire comment, that someone from Trump's background, with no government experience, and a difficult time articulating what he's trying to say during his announcement that he was running, was somehow able to put together a global initiative to hurt the US and help Russia. I'm old enough to remember J. Edger Hoover who once was a notorious Director of the FBI. Back then, he was considered the most powerful individual in this country and for good reason.
