Yes, the NSA does listen in, and get access, to all electronic communication world-wide; If it has a hard time breaking into lines here, it simply gets it from other English speaking nations. I asked the person, proformaartista, for specifics on about how English speaking nations are "used" to accomplish what would be a violation of our laws. I'll ask you for specifics. Because there is an intelligence sharing agreement and long standing relationship between the US, UK, AU, CA, and NZ, does not mean these countries have also agreed to or been asked to break our respective laws.

@tfhr: I'll explain, Because all communications companies have out of country data centers, the data is transferred on a regular schedule between those centers, (called "shifting" I think) so they can upgrade/repair, therefore when it goes in or outside of country it's considered a foreign directed communication, because it crossed a border. It doesn't matter WHO sent it over that border, only that it was sent, and any cross-border communication can be disseminated and/or monitored as needed. Can a satellite signal be sent from one handheld device all the way around the world to another device without wires hundreds of thousands of times per second and still connect accurately every time? YES; every hour of every day, it's called "Cell Phones". Can a handheld device be remotely activated via a wireless signal to become active, I don't know...how does you cell know when to ring? YES, is the answer. Can you wirelessly spy on your house via a Bluetooth camera connected to your phone in real time? YES? Then why can't it go both directions? Can a person who hacks your phone follow you via GPS? I don't know but "Find My iPhone" works awfully similar to that and very accurately, is it unreasonable to assume it can go both ways? There's no "conspiracy", it is simply a fact. Can a satellite radio signal be traced to follow a person's car? How else can the signal be delivered to that car, if the signal isn't following the car? All one needs do is follow the identifier number of the radio. If the systems exist to facilitate these communications, obviously they can be exploited by whomever can gain access to them and law allows it under multiple circumstances.

My entire problem with these assertions revolves around the utter SILENCE about the fact that this system was set up and created entirely by the Bush Administration, and that repeated reports in other news agencies before this were totally ignored because there was no evidence "stolen" to prove each specific assertion, and the fact that this whole system was actually reviewed, FINALLY after revelations were repeatedly ignored during Bush's tenure. Obama's the only one who instituted changes to comply with FISA, and only one to even address the issue of no whistleblower protections after it was revealed. The ONLY reason Snowden needed to do what he did to inform the American public about what the BUSH surveillance apparatus was doing was that Americans refused to listen to PBS reports, and singular whistleblowers who wrote books but were utterly ignored during the Bush Administration, because for some reason you people attribute more ethical character to the persons who are better at hiding their criminal behavior, The Bush White House. The torture would've never been believed either, if not for Lynndie England's selfies even though you were REPEATEDLY told by multiple sources it was occurring. The Obama regime along with the world bankers have tried to infringe upon every amendment in the US constitution, for starters.
