My wife has a kidney disorder called "medgulary sponge kidney" not sure of spelling. She produces stones like a rock quarry!!! I feel so bad for her she been to many urologists but no fixes other than removing her kidney but problem is both kidneys are full of stones! She has passes sum as large as "CORN KERNELS" I can't remember for sure but I think it was 13-14 mm. But no matter the size there all bad. While pregnant with our last 2 kids they was very bad she ended up having 1 stuck during both pregnancies and had to have a nefrostemy tube put in and a pee bag to relieve pressure off kidney until babies was born. She's had this condition since she was seven years old and sum weeks passed numerous stones multiple at times. Many surgeries lithotripsy seems to work the best/easiest on her but just temporary solution. I would love to be able to take her pain away!!! Sum1 plz find a cure for this problem or at least a way to make them turn to jelly or sand like substance. Thanks

Hydrangea root capsules, apple cider vinegar tablets and lemon water! NO kidney stones in almost a year, now, and I was making them like a rock quarry!

I have 4mm multiple stones please tell me what to do

matt shoemaker • 9 years ago

Have you read the article? It tells you what to do.

sukTHEfac • 8 years ago

I think he's talking about actual medical assistance.

See a Urologist. I also have a small kidney stone and have had severe problems in the past (passing a stone is amazingly painful....some say worse than giving birth!) My recent visit to my urologist indicated my stone was only 3mm, and nothing to be worried about. (OF course he wasn't worried about it, because it wasn't in his kidney LOL) But he said stones 3mm or less are not to be concerned about. Yours is 4mm, so I would suggest you see a Urologist. Of course the list of treatments listed here also might be worth a try. I've begun taking a glass of lemon juice and water daily, but I won't know how well that works for some time. I wish you luck with this medical issue.

matt shoemaker • 9 years ago

Re read the article and try something else

august • 9 years ago

Stones take awhile to form & same amount of time too
dissolve. You MUST take the Chanca Piedra 6 months and
more. 3 six oz cups daily..cold or hot. You can put few drops
honey in if needed Worked for me AFTER 6 MONTHS I have
catscans before and after too prove it. Had 7 and 1/2 mm and
many small stones..Dr wanted too operate. I am a
retired pharmacist

Moe • 9 years ago

I have been taking Chanca Piedra 500mg X 4 a day as well, for about 2 months now without any success. What is, 3 six oz cups daily dosage you have described? Is it 6 oz of pure or after mixed with water?
Thanks.

mki89 • 5 years ago

2 Tablespoons twice daily of organic apple cider vinegar. Just dilute it in water

Petrus • 4 years ago

Not everyone can take vinegar - if you're a blood type A, then vinegar is out. Completely. I'd stick to herbs that are BT compliant, and chanca piedra is a good opening choice.

I use Coconut Oil and it does dissolve Kidney Stones. I use a tbsp of Coconut 3 to 4 times a day and at night just before bed I have a glass of Magnesium Citrate which also dissolves stones and helps in the healing of the bladder and urinary tract.

Horsetail does work as well though need to take 3 to 4 cups a day. I also used Horsetail tea to heal my Achilles heal tendon.

Problem with me though is when the Loin Pain Haematuria kicks in it is hard to take in a lot of fluids and this pain is worse than a kidney stone.
Good luck aleisa and please try to stick with the regimen.

Ciao

What kind of coconut oil do you use?

Jen • 8 years ago

Hi how do you take the coconut oil?

Marchie Gonzales • 8 years ago

How about coconut water?

Robin Wenz • 9 years ago

Multiplicity, are you taking the Coconut Oil straight or with water? How much Magnesium Citrate are you using?

NeoIlluminatus • 7 years ago

Coconut oil 1 Tbsp straight or on food will have the same effect. She was talking about taking a full 12oz bottle of Mag Citrate, yet this is BAD long-term. I suggest Magnesium orotate, as Dr. Group suggested, though Epsom Salt baths are a great way to get healthy doses of Magnesium as well. Mag Citrate is the gross tasting stuff you take when very Constipated!

Toni T • 8 years ago

she said table spoon -so presuming straight and a "glass" is 8 oz.....so thats probably pretty close

I was told to juice lemons and limes and apples, especially green apples and to take Malic acid tablets ( green apples are highest in malic acid) and maybe a tiny bit of olive oil maybe a teaspoon but concentrate mostly on the lemons limes and apple juice. It is far better to shrink them until they are so small they pass on their own rather than drinking the salt, lemon juice and olive oil combo to pass stones. Also use a liquid called "Stone breaker" and the Erasmus said in his book "fats that heal and fats that kill" that lecithin will reduce kidney and gallstones I believe

19238hmh • 8 years ago

Go to another doctor. Find a Urologist who deals specifically with Kidney Stones. The advice your current Doctor gave you sounds inadequate. (I just noticed your post is three years ago. I wonder what the out come of this medical condition has been?

NeoIlluminatus • 7 years ago

Respectable Urologists say that the smaller stones can hurt more, and even cause more damage, depending on it's travel path. My former Urologist was NOT respectable, and I've paid a very dear price for that.

Jen8612 • 8 years ago

Its not gonna pass. I have a 3mm and the doctor told me if it was 5mm i wouldnt need surgery to remove it. Find a specialist. That doctor is wrong.

Jen8612 • 8 years ago

5mm would need surgery** sorry. Autocorrected when i wrote a typo

Hamza Mazhar • 8 years ago

Extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy is the best way to remove kidney stones

Otis Thecat • 7 years ago

that worked for me twice.

ASNMINER • 10 years ago

Upon learning about my kidney stone(S) I was already looking for remedies-- this has to be the first time I hear of this treatment!!-- I first started off with (3) stones, (1) on my right side at a whopping [ 22mm ] and (2) on my left, [ 18mm ] & [ 8mm ]. My Urologist prescribed me Sodium Bicarb 650mg, 2 tabs 3 times daily, he prompt me to drink lots and lots of water, and to change my diet. Well, its not rocket science to say it DIDN'T HELP when I now have ((8)) stones in total and have done absolutely EVERYTHING this dr. has told me to do. I am for sure, going to try these remedies.. and pray to God (([[something]])) works. Wish me luck :(

Jessika Baros-Pineda • 5 years ago

What did you do to help?

Christine • 9 years ago

I cannot believe that at all I have had 3 huge stones and was told by each Dr I saw they needed to be treated asap.
I apologize but it sounds fishy at best.
They would have to be worried of malpractice action.
See another Dr as soon as possible..

Michael Poore • 9 years ago

You need to see another Doctor. To leave stones that large, untreated in your ureter, is irresponsible to say the least. That could lead to kidney damage, and even failure. ESWL (lithotripsy) is the best option. Make sure to save any stone fragments that you pass to be sent off to a lab for pathology. This can better tell you what the stones are made of. The olive oil remedy is a hoax and will only give you loose bowel movements. It doesn't lubricate any of the urinary tract. Alkaline water, Apple Cider VInegar and lemon juice at every turn has reduced my recurrence to about once a year. That beats the monthly ER visits from the last 30 years!

Multiplicity Hall • 9 years ago

With the condition of Loin Pain Haematuria Syndrome that I have even being put under anesthetic with stints inserted I am in total trauma before I get into the car to drive home. I had the procedure done for stones last May and from that day to actually near the present I have had to ramp up my pain med and also the items to prevent stones which exacerbates the problem as nausea is on high alert. My husband has to argue with me to get me to take more med when I need it, as I now a 39 year recovered alcoholic and addict and terrified of becoming used to the med and couple that with the fact that I am almost totally allergic to synthetics which covers most meds. The Lord has helped to tolerate most days up to an 8.5 in a 0-10 range and also to read my pain to see where it moves. When it gets so bad that the pain meds do not work then the Lord has taught how to go inside to meet the pain, embrace it and then move through it. Sounds weird I know but it works.

I listen to soaking music, classics, I write poetry and books and read a lot. I take olive oil with rosemary and lavender baths. A Massage is good once in a while though only a relaxation massage. In the right weather I like to get my hands dirty and help to make grow.

For more than 25 years I have had problems mentioned above and so I shared what I do to mitigate some.

The stones are the least of my problems though when they do become a problem my system is on hight alert to get of them quick.

I truly do empathize with those comments on the page as for those who have not know pain how would they understand.

I have bookmarked this page and hope visit again soon.

Ciao, and take care and be well and be good to yourself.

Albularyo • 11 years ago

85% of kidney stones are crystallized acid with sharp points, such as Uric Acid and Calcium Oxalate and as along as the urine is acid, they cannot dissolve. They like to get stuck in one of the 2 narrow renal tubes connecting the kidneys with the bladder, and will give you periodic pain attacks on the left or right side of your back bone. You need to buffer the urine to get them to dissolve, and this can be done with a heaping teaspoon of Bicarbonate of Soda and lots of water. Usually the crystals reduce in size to pass within the hour. You can catch them in a tea sieve and have them analysed. ,,,,or mount them on some jewelry, whichever.

Sukie • 11 years ago

I'm down for trying all these great remedies, but not sure I have kidney stones. Could anyone please tell me the symptoms? Thank you.

Tom • 11 years ago

I used to wake up in the morning feeling sick and nausies until one day it was accompanied by pain in the rear side, where the kidney is, i went to hospital and they x-rayed me and found it was a kidney stone, they put me on the medication Tamsulosin which made me worse,so i went on the net and and followed the protocol for olive oil and lemon juice and after 3 doses of that my stone come out

Multiplicity Hall • 9 years ago

Glad to hear it!

sheknows • 9 years ago

My fiance did this it works slow but sure. Try stone breaker at health food store too!!#

ghie • 8 years ago

thank you. I will try that also

sk • 11 years ago

go for scanning

19238hmh • 8 years ago

As long as the stone remains in the kidney, there are no symptoms. Once it moves down the urinary track, believe me, you will know about it.

Kelly B • 7 years ago

I know most medical information states this but it definitely ISN'T true. My daughter had a 5mm stone in her kidney and developed pain and severe nausea and vomiting. The only thing that fixed that was getting that stone OUT. I get really angry when doctors say it doesn't cause any pain or issues. HOW DO THEY KNOW IF THEY WON'T LISTEN TO PATIENTS WHO HAVE ISSUES WITH IT?

Joyce Billiot Begnaud • 7 years ago

I know what you mean. My son is 13 and gets chronic kidney stones. No urologist believes he is in pain. But has had blood in urine many times and said felt like being stabbed inside of penis. So tired of the Dr's not doing anything. Have to make tons of e.r. Trips just to get him some relief from pain. Stresses both parent and child out, because there is not much we can do. Now trying Stone breaker to see if this will help.

Jade • 7 years ago

This does not sound like kidney stones, more like a bladder infection. Kidney stone pain is rarely in the penis, it will be experienced in the lower back and abdomen, in the penis only at the time of passing.

Theresa Neville • 8 years ago

Not true. Mine are in kidneys and my urine has blood in it.

Multiplicity Hall • 9 years ago

Symptoms vary depending on where the stone is and wether or not it get stuck on the way down. The measures above if used as suggested above will dissolve the stones to enable passage.

If the stone get stuck and there is blockage you may encounter what is called renal cholic which ramps up the pain and nausea.

Take meds for pain and nausea(I use organic ginger tea which helps) and take a prescribed pain med.) When nausea and pain or stabalized somewhat then take the natural products to dissolve stones. If you do not have the stones then the natural remedies will insure you do not get them or a least a few mabey depending on your food and drink consumption. If it is fast food and sodas or alcohol, then you will need to take natural methods as with a diet like that you may produce them more often than not.

It has always been my experience that it takes determination and hard work ie effort to get well. When the items above on the page tell us what to do and what works. Best to find out by experience what does.

Take Care,

Hamza Mazhar • 8 years ago

First thing we have to consider is the size of the stone if it is not that big and can pass easily through ureter then try taking lemon juice with olive oil as mentioned above but if the size of stone is large go for extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and when once the stone is removed keep taking a lot of water improve your diet and add some of the foods as mentioned above to your diet schedule so that to avoid further forming of stones in kidney.
i like this article its really good and informative.
