Is Israel still necessary? It was created as a sanctuary for oppressed peoples more than 50 years ago, I don't believe Jews are hated anymore, it is now moved to people being anti-islamic.. Not true. LOTS of people who oppose Israel's occupation also oppose Palestinian violence. There's no such thing as "justice" for an innocent person who is murdered. If you're talking about consequences for the perpetrators of violence, the Israeli government does a thorough job of meting out punishments to Palestinians who commit violent acts (and/or to their families) through arrests, home demolitions, deportations, etc.. Where is the "justice" (consequences, punishments, etc.) when it is Israelis (incl. West Bank settlers) who commit acts of violence against Palestinians?
