android. "error reading subtitles file" too much！Can you separate the subtitles download ? For example, download the SRT from the web to mobile phone, can then load the local subtitles in mobile phone video?
If you have to understand that I Chinese, Chinese said once. Android版本经常性的加载不了字幕，就算稍后重试也不行。我能理解你们隐藏下载文件夹、独立的视频格式的用意，但是能不能做个功能就是加载本地字幕呢？或者允许用户上传本地字幕。这样我可以在网站上把字幕下载后，手机下载视频，再加载本地字幕这样就能在路上也能看了。就像迅雷云播那样，很多国内的播放器都可以上传本地字幕的。你们再做个MD5码验证，就可以去除多余的资源了。

For that you'll have to search from the user's enrollments and filter the results manually. And you can get the enrollments here: https://api.coursera.org/api/u...
Second the request for a ROKU streaming capability! I use my Roku for everything. If that's too involved, it would be great if you generate some kind of feed we could use some other Roku app to view!

A suggestion: Message boards should preserve and restore the text in the text entry box if user navigates away and then back during message composition. This is needed here as well as in the course I am taking. It sometimes takes a while to compose a coherent message, and it may require referencing other pages. Accidently navigating away deletes the work so far.

A common thread that seems to pop up in the forums of all coursera classes I have done involves resources for background or supplementary information. Is there a way for learners to make recommendations regarding specific courses in a way that is accessible before signing up for a class?
I have developed the habit of auditing classes so I can figure out what I need to know before signing up to actually do the class, but I am sure that messes with your reporting numbers... Each person may have different gaps in their background knowledge, but seeing what others have found to be necessary to succeed in a course would still be useful.
I would also like to see learners rate the instructors. There are some really excellent instructors and some really, well... not so excellent ones. It would be good to see what others think. Sometimes the instructor is really boring but the course content is good, so maybe several factors should be available for rating.
Are there any plans to add iCal / Google Calendar integrations for courses / assignments? Would any of these APIs expose a calendar so that someone could create such integrations?

While creating a new coursera app platform application, the field "application name" has the following explanation "This is the name that your users will see when authorizing your application." Who are the users authorizing application? (a) Faculty; (b) students; (c) platform administrator?
