This is going to be a thing, isn't it?

DTOzone • 7 years ago

Certainly. Because we can't have elections be about policy.

George Gamble • 7 years ago

Yea, it can't be about a candidate who may have a major medical condition that would prevent her from fulfilling her office. Frankly, having Kaine replace Clinton might not be the worst thing in the world ...

MichaelKennedy • 7 years ago

Second worst. Her election would be the worst.

Eric_in_Ann_Arbor • 7 years ago

Wrong.

Atrocities that have happened, genocide that IS happening, people turning Hillary Clinton into the Devil incarnate - those are all much worse.

Why don't you open your eyes and realize that if you like Trump and support his policies (such as they are), you could in theory support that while being a decent human being and not the scumbag you're showing the world.

Oops, I should have read further. Oh well maybe it will sink in.

Obviously...

That makes you a basket case. And no surprise there.

Thank you - it's an honor to be recognized for intellect, critical thought, and education.

Eric Trump, is that you?

Jack Straw • 7 years ago

Admitting you have a problem is the first step.

my ilk? Interesting. And unlike your parroting Trump's tweeting points, we aren't required to stick to Hillary's talking points. Says so on the membership card.

And as far as I know, Hillary isn't the grifter in this election....Trump on the other hand....

MYMY • 7 years ago

whhaaaa? Oh I guess the 9/11 First Responders she obtained $20 million for are connected in your eyes? Bernie was asked twice point blank to find a single vote by her tat did what you claim and he could not.

bobrzik • 7 years ago

Huh?

yodacohen • 7 years ago

You just hit the nail on the head. For the past 30, maybe 50 years, Republicans have been lazy lazy lazy, substituting Lee Atwater bulls--t for real policy discussions that can be debated on the merits.
What happens in our country and around the world is impacted by the policies enacted by the United States Government. Voting decisions in a democracy such as the United States should be made based on the proposed policies of each candidate.

Republicans don't campaign on policy. They campaign on name calling and fear and personal put-downs of their competition. They smear, they slam, they slander, they libel, and when caught with their hand in in the cookie jar later by reporters and historians after the fact, say, "Who? Me?"
The Bushes are experts at this. Willie Horton. After all, anything to get elected, right, Poppy?

Trolling posters are the WORST. They don't EVEN have a clue about real policy issues. They just spew. And spewing doesn't sell, it doesn't change anyone's mind about ANYTHING.

It's lazy, it's cowardly, it's evil, it's a slam at democracy and freedom, it is unethical and immoral, and it needs be called out.

You just did.

Marc83 • 7 years ago

On the plus side it lets completely disengaged Americans feel like they're part of the discussion. While they can't intelligently discuss the merits of funding research for stem cells, continuing budget resolutions, and tax proposals; they can weigh in on tabloid style gossip. And we are all the richer for it...

Eric_in_Ann_Arbor • 7 years ago

Thank you. Well said.

basket of deplorables is what exactly then?

hypocrite much?

yodacohen • 7 years ago

When mud is slung at you, slinging it back is justified. I'd say white racists, anti-semites, conspiracy theorists, and haters, a whole lot of them, are all deplorable and Trump has their support.

He claims to be a retired surgeon. He should heal himself first. Sad!

Jack Straw • 7 years ago

Old Fool

Golbez • 7 years ago

A retired surgeon? So educated and yet so ignorant.

Guest • 7 years ago
Golbez • 7 years ago

I think getting that designation requires quite a bit of work and attention to detail. It's certainly no "participation" ribbon, handed out to anyone. To me, that's what makes their ignorance all the more appalling. How do you get to that level of education and still come across so dumb? It's as impressive as it is sad.

pdxuser • 7 years ago

Which major medical condition to choose her to have, though? Type "icy stairs in February" into WebMD and report back what sort of cancer she obviously has.

Marc83 • 7 years ago

Ebola. Definitely Ebola.

micah09 • 7 years ago

I do think we're really talking about voting for a President Kaine here.

Eric_in_Ann_Arbor • 7 years ago

No. We're not.

Philip Hess • 7 years ago

Yes, Mr Magoo without the nearsightedness...

Uh huh. Right. And heat never got to YOU?
I get the feeling you WISH she were dead.
Your post is disgusting and I hope the moderator deletes it.

D dd • 7 years ago

i guess we all better vote for trump right

micah09 • 7 years ago

Right, like the mainstream media obsession with John McCain's age and health (and his skin moles, blah blah) was about policy....

TrevorN • 7 years ago

McCain's age and state of health became more important because of his choice of running mate.
