Where's the memes? Post? Mark Zuckerberg scrubs that out.

But wait until that guy with the piano plays John Lennon's "Imagine" at the scene of the crime or some pundit says "It's time to heal." BS. That'll be all over social media.

That statement was made over 6 months ago, NOT in response to today's attack. I think Mayor Khan was being brutally honest, not dismissive or callous. Cities are natural targets for terrorists, whether it be London, Paris, Brussels, Madrid or Boston, New York, Charleston, Oklahoma City. Trump Jr. was probably thrilled by this tragedy, as it gave him the opportunity to grandstand. Would he still be so full of (self) righteous fury were the Mayor not Muslim?

Oh, Angela Merkel. Our favorite form of European suicide.

It's five minutes to "High Noon" (read Islamization) in Her Majesty's Kingdom and her minions are still asleep at the switch.

The root cause of terrorism -and the unprecedented world refugee crisis - is the destruction of whole countries in the Islamic Middle East. ( Poor Syria ! ) . Old Europe imperialism continues to seek hegemony there . The United States is a ring leader of this New Colonialism. Do our great leaders think perhaps that only slow genocide will " solve " the terrorism problem ?
It just is not all about " Allah is great ! "-this terrorism plague . Human beings are alike everywhere in hating oppression and foreign domination.
It was rather absurd to declare " war on terrorism "after the events of September 11,2001. How do you terrify the terrorists ? Is any poor Muslim individual in the Middle East- with a chip on his shoulder for " Uncle Sam "- a worthy target of a Pentagon drone bomb ?
End terrorism by ending our own state terrorism ?

The root cause of terrorism is the Koran.

And, of course, the enablers to these evils, are self-righteous Lefties, like you.

Ron Ruggieri • 7 years ago

Wel, if that is true, the ONLY cure for terrorism is a Crusade inspired by the Old Testament - which rivals the Koran ( in numerous isolated quotes ) in blood thirsty viciousness. How popular is Jesus with our neo-con Democrats ?
We have learned nothing from Vietnam ?

Where'd you read that? That's concerning.

It appears he had been investigated previously, but only as a secondary character in something else a long time ago. This home grown stuff is what is really scary. The guy was born and bred British.

Worth it to step back for a bit to see what comes out of it. It's disheartening though that people needlessly had to die.

There's over a billion, that is, 1,000,000,000, Muslims in the world. So that 1 in 100,000 comes along with a lot of Jihadi friends. And I'm sure they can drive cars, too.

DKaido • 7 years ago

The Vast, vast majority don't pose any threat. Though it should be said that regime change in other countries and bombing people causes people to flee and if the threat is perceived as to much to allow in Muslims or other immigrants then it might be to much to maintain bombing or regime change in said country the people are fleeing from.

Also I the 1 in 100,000 line is similar to the jail all 10 men if 1 might be guilty. It's a slippery slope since it could justify inhumane actions against the whole in hopes of stopping a few.

Geheran1958 • 7 years ago

While it is true that the "vast majority" of Muslims pose little or no threat, it can be misleading. Even when applying the ludicrously low-ball estimate that says a mere 2% of Muslims are pro-active jihadis, that translates to a number in the tens-of-millions (do the math - 2% of 1.6B). If that isn't a threat, I don't know what is.

So sad.

So redundant.
