Protesting in Russia takes a lot of courage. You can't poison or shoot them all, Vlad, you dark-souled little man. I can't wait for our "president" to condemn the actions of the Russian police.

We cannot let our kleptocrat "president" ruin this country, and we need to help Russian citizens get rid of their murderous kleptocrat "leader".

Together we stand.

How do WE" help " the Russian people get rid of Bad Vlad Putin ? Wink at CIA plots ? Wink at our own militarism ? Overthrow Trump and put Hawk Hillary, " Corrupt Hillary " in charge as Commander-in-Chief ?
DEMOCRACY should begin at home !

Politically literate ( most are ) NPR listeners need not be reminded that this year marks the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution. In this sense only was the collapse of the Stalinist Soviet Union a great historical tragedy ( as Vladimir Putin himself called it ) : it gave neo-liberal philistines in all countries the false idea that global capitalism was the forever FUTURE. And Karl Marx -not the plutocrats - had been tossed into the garbage can of History.

But History has not ended. Capitalism in Russia - led by ex-communist Putin and his undemocratic oligarchy ( just like our undemocratic plutocracy )- has a short but dismal record there.. Long ago Leon Trotsky predicted ( " The Revolution Betrayed " ) that the Stalinist bureaucracy was fully capable of leading Russia all the way back to capitalism- restoring private property relations in the state economy. Guess WHO became today's millionaires and billionaires in capitalist Russia ?

Democratic socialists around the world call for real socialism in Russia, in China, in India, in Cuba.... in Europe .... and yes, in the good old USA .

We do not support an insane war against still nuclear power Russia. We do not support the DNC based New McCarthyism in the United States ( which now has a treacherous celebrity voice in erratic film maker Michael Moore ) .
Where is the PEACE movement ?
