A greedy, clueless American plutocracy has no clarity on health care as basic human right. THEY want young American working class soldiers to risk their lives in the crazy Middle East to protect THEIR way of life ? Trump's way of life and Hillary's way of life is not our way of life.

Here is a simple question which will non-plus nine out of ten neo-liberals in oh -so-liberal Boston : there is a class struggle in the world between workers and capitalists. Socialists have studied this struggle since the Great French Revolution. Which side are YOU on ?

Hardly any Harvard professors have any loyalty to the American working class. They grovel before their capitalist masters. For them social climbing is a matter of becoming more and more hostile and contemptuous of the " underprivileged ". They think that being " smart "- with DEGREE- should set no limits on your income. Or your snobbery ! Or your arrogance !

What has Harvard Business School or Harvard Law School done for common people in America ? This university mass produces neo-con , war mongering ,politicians

"The workers really should sieze the means of production. Should any filthy capitalists decide to destroy the wares than well, kill em!" - DC

Interesting how you denigrate the democratic concept of worker managed businesses given your previous comment:

"You have no right to compel another to serve you as you wish. - DC

So, your promote the Ayn Randian illogic that nobody has the right to compel another to serve them, unless that person is a plutocrat because wealth is a measure of one's worth and, thus, the plutocratic elite are entitled to compel the working class to do as the plutocrats wish.

"What has Harvard Business School or Harvard Law School done for common people in America ? " - Ron Ruggieri

You can substitute "Harvard Business School" with the name of almost any other university. Universities, and academics, have gone into overdrive in the efforts to maximize funding. Much of the funding is from corporate friendly affiliations and the military. Even funding from public sources, such as the NSF, is heavily weighted toward research valued by the private sector. Not much University funding for the study of ending imperialism, alternatives to militarism, sustainable community run/owned business, or worker owned cooperatives.

How disgusting you are to target people who are overweight. Sorry but who the hell do you think you are? Why not rant about our processed food industry that works to add sugar, salt and fat to all their products... or how about the food deserts that exist in poor neighborhoods. Or how about people who have endocrine problems. Let's tax you for being a nasty person.

That's Apples and oranges. Why target people with health problems. SHAME.

Ron Ruggieri • 7 years ago

Does that include military service ? Ask the state.

Vandermeer • 7 years ago

Get off the Hillary bashing. Hillary would have continued beefing up the State Dept. as well to seek a political solution in the Middle East.

What I say about the right wing nationalist, President Donald Trump , of course, applies to Democrat Hillary Clinton : there is no point in over-demonizing her. Democratic socialists focus on the CLASS character of political leaders- and acknowledge whatever outstanding qualities or personal virtues they have- that made them so " successful ".
Both the Democrats and the Republicans serve the American plutocracy. The American working class has " no friends in high places ".

You are seeing in black and white... try looking at the greys. Huge difference between Democrats and Repulsicans. Look at their stands on the issues Ron. Big differences.

Will be interesting to see what the markets do on Monday. Been reading reports that much of the "Trump Rally" has been fueled by the hoped-for tax cuts. But the inability to repeal legislation that the party has railed and campaigned against for years puts the faith in these tax cuts at risk. I'm hoping for at least a 10% correction in the next month.

"It seems both sides like Trump, and that's good." Translatation, "It seems no side likes me and that's bad."

Yeah I really thought the tea partiers were bluffing. I realize now that they truly believe their party's own lies.

So much for Trump the negotiator.
Being president involves a steep learning curve,
far too steep for this man, who is both ignoramus and dullard.

Every other advanced nation takes care of its people
through some sort of universal provision of health care.
America is exceptional, yes, but in a retrograde way.
It's because half of our population does not understand the
concepts and benefits of mutual aid and social insurance.

The Dems giveth and the Repubs taketh away.

Republicans may have admitted defeat but Trump sure didn't. He couldn't help but spin foolishly and blame democrats for their lack of involvement. His shoes are constantly covered in his BS. The republican plan was to rid of the plan, not fix it. Democrats want to fix. Of course there would be no assistance in making a health care/coverage plan worse. Having the house majority of congress meant they needed no assistance of democrats which this clueless leader obviously didn't get. Well if tax reform is next, can't wait to see them try to rid of the mortgage interest rate deduction.

Donald Trump has never admitted failure, ever. In fact his track record is to declare his failures to be successes. He learned it from his mentor, Roy Cohn.
