It's a joy, watching the FakeStream Media as it begins to choke on its own bile. They're finding that when you kill the truth, it only comes back to haunt you...

an excerpt from the article you linked.
The F.B.I. is leading the investigations, aided by the National Security Agency, the C.I.A. and the Treasury Department’s financial crimes unit. The investigators have accelerated their efforts in recent weeks but have found no conclusive evidence of wrongdoing, the officials said. One official said intelligence reports based on some of the wiretapped communications had been provided to the White House.
as you see, it plainly states that the FBI was involved in the investigation, information came from wiretapping and the information was shared with the Whitehouse. it also states that no wrongdoing has been shown.
what that basically means is that the Obama Administration had access to private conversations between Trump and his top people, they attained the information illegally, they were spying on political rivals for political gains and they were using multiple federal agencies to spy on and if possible persecute political rivals. the level of criminality of this is beyond scope.

If the recent past is a guide, Trump will be proven right Again and Comey, Obama and his bff Holder will have some 'splainin' to do....

Why he didn't fire Comey (or better yet, arrest him) on day one still confounds me...

Tazz2293 • 7 years ago

You and me both. Comey should be sharing a cell on Death Row with ilLIARy right now

Deplorable Sitting Duck • 7 years ago

I dont think he can
I believe there is some sort of law protecting him from Political
repercussions (i.e. No one can fire him.)

The MSM (and the Dems) are in a panic. Their coverup of Obama scandals is going to come unraveled. So naturally, they are digging deeper. That used to work. I'm not convinced it will work any more.

Edit: I was just musing on the fact that when conservatives are accused of anything, they must prove their innocence. When Democrats are accused of anything we must prove their guilt. That is, the burden of proof is never on the Dems. The MSM is the enforcer of this.

Perry • 7 years ago

Their credibility is SHOT after shilling for the fraud Obama for 8 years. Not to mention, less and less people are getting their news from the old media nowadays.

Liberal media job one is at all costs create and maintain the make believe Obama legacy they worked so hard to create for the affirmative action president and his administration. Never even a 'smidgen' of corruption OR scandal.

Ron Burgandy • 7 years ago

Dems can make accusations without a shred of proof, then demand an inquiry because as they say...the seriousness of the charge alone warrants investigation.

Here's some classic mudslinging from Dingy Harry Reid during the 2012 election http://www.huffingtonpost.c...
Media asks him for proof and he says, "go talk to Romney" and all hell breaks loose.
Then there was the admission from Reid that it was all b.s. and he was proud of it, "Romney lost didn't he?" http://www.washingtonexamin... and what does the media do - crickets.

Guest • 7 years ago

My take on that was always, 'once you're in a hole, stop digging, you'll only make it deeper'.

OBAMA is guilty of treason wiretapping, LOCK OBAMA UP!

There is something bigger here that still may come out. Obama and his cohorts are desperately trying to stop any investigation into unlawful surveillance. Yesterday Comey even asked the DOJ to not pursue an investigation.

Last week the story was conversations Sessions had in his OFFICE. The attacks against Sessions were completely out of proportion for just another cabinet position. They needed him to be disgraced and removed.

The investigation may lead to uncovering the Obama team was bugging the office of a sitting senator. Watergate was the private campaign of one party bugging the offices of the opposition party. This is the President using the most powerful surveillance apparatus of the United States going after political enemies. People will be going to jail over this!

InMyOpinion • 7 years ago

I suspect when the investigation gets knee-deep, it may reveal Obama routinely used illegal surveillance on anybody whom he perceived as a threat to his administration, nationally and internationally. Obama has no respect for US laws and simply did as he wished, knowing nobody in Congress would challenge him. Now the chickens are coming home to roost.

And they have the chutzpah to say there's no evidence?

The Corrupt Media Establishment wants to claim it happened when they can use it to smear Trump and then claim it didn't happens so they can call Trump a liar. No matter what happens, they twist themselves into pretzels to smear the President of the United States.

Yes, but it's easier to put yesterday behind you as it's already tomorrow where you are. Huh?! It is a tense time here in the former colonies. Waiting to see the whites of their eyes is past. We see the enemy and it is "deep" within the heart of government. Like so many dingos, the nip, nip and attacks on our society are growing more dangerous. They will take many babies before being properly dispatched. Be well Down under. ...and beware of Johnny Turk!

Couldn't agree more Beat, and I haven't actually seen a moslem for about 8 months, but I'm not sanguine. I also hate Erdogan with a vengeance and hope he has a bit of a confrontation with Putin!

AmericanMom • 7 years ago

The NYT, CNN nor MS/NBC cannot have it both ways. They know the regime they endorsed, aided and abetted wiretapped the Trump campaign. Time now for the whole lot of them to face the music. Their corrupt covert spying complicity is revealed to law-abiding Americans and the world.

Also rare is for FISA warrant requests to be turned down. During the 25
years from 1979 to 2004, 18,742 warrants were granted, while only 4 were
rejected. Fewer than 200 requests had to be modified before being
accepted, almost all of them in 2003 and 2004. The four rejected
requests were all from 2003, and all four were partially granted after
being submitted for reconsideration by the government. Of the requests
that had to be modified, few were before the year 2000. During the next
eight years, from 2004 to 2012, there were over 15,100 additional
warrants granted, and another 7 being rejected. Over the entire 33-year
period, the FISA court granted 33,942 warrants, with only 12 denials – a
rejection rate of 0.03 percent of the total requests.[5]
This does not include the number of warrants that were modified by the
FISA court. This can cause a phenomenon called "confirmation bias"
which, due to such a high approval rate of warrants, can lead to over
rationalization of information by the government on targeted
individuals. For example, certain characteristics like ethnicity and
religion combined with probable can cause the FBI to dig into the
background of an individual until anything remotely suspicious comes up,
even if there's clear-cut evidence that the person is innocent.[6]

thank you for replying...i feel like such a a**hat for not putting the link in there...i wouldn't have even noticed if you hadn't!

these are NOT my words nor work, and i feel like a complete jerk for looking like a plagiarist...

i've just been researching the fisa courts and laws so much since this all hit when i found that paragraph i wanted to get it out there immediately....

people don't realize that there is a provision whereas the president can get a "warrantless wiretap" through his AG...trying to find more on it...

I have yet to see anyone on Fox report this. Instead they talk about how Trump should have done this or that and not blast on twitter. Here's an idea, rally around your President instead of nitpick.

Snellville Bob • 7 years ago

The MSM cannot act as a self serving filter for Trump's tweets. In other words, there is no reason for FOX etc to exist as far as the office of the President is concerned. They are losing control and do not like it.

rabidfox2 • 7 years ago

Fox is a news organization. It's the GOP that should rally around the President. But they seem to want to be first in line to stab him in the back.
