Kim Yoo Jung won 2 awards but she couldn't attend because she was in the hospital becuase of the Knetz haters who spread ridiculous issue about her. This was supposed to be such a happy night for her because she was finally getting awarded for her hardwork and talent but they ruined it for her because of their baseless witch hunt!! I am still so mad. I hope Yoojung get well and comeback stronger than ever!!

I agree, it is absolutely disgusting and criminal to bully a teenage girl for such a ridiculous matter. Had it happenend to a poor girl in every day life people would have taken her side but I guess seeing a young, beautiful and rich girl doing well is unbearable to Knetz.

She would've been happy to attend and know that she won the Best couple award along side Bogummy. She was saying in interviews that she would've been happy just to win that award. It seethes me how these crazy lunatics ruined everything for her. They doggedly bully her to try and bring her down. It makes my heartache that she's hurt (she doesn't deserve the harsh and viscious comments). I just hope she'll get stronger and continue to be as she is.

yes, it is. Both Music Festival and Drama Awards wise, 1-KBS 2-MBC 3-SBS. Even knetz says so. SBS is the worst for both events. I was cringing most of the time watching it.

Conclusion: MBC has the best entertainment awards for 2016 and KBS has the best drama one. MBC for variety shows and KBS for dramas make everyone happy.

Song Joong Ki is the most deserving. Don't understand why people are so salty when he wins something. This guy has carried almost all the dramas/movies he's starred in on his shoulders, he is a brilliant and versatile actor and is bankable. Well done, Joonki!

That's not what most critics and the general public have said so far (even SHK said it) but that's your opinion and I respect it (although I don't agree). The SJK "syndrome" is not just due to his good looks - he really brought life to a character that was not amazingly written and could have been a total turn off if not played by him. He did what Hyun Bin managed to do in Secret Garden but what Lee Min Ho couldn't in the Heirs.

SHK is an actress I respect a lot (and she definitely drew viewers) but she is not what kept them watching it until the end.

i wont complain on SJK winning the awards because he deserved it..but when you talk about SJK is the only one who saved the drama frm not so amazingly written script i think you are totally biased and unfair to the other actors especially SHK..yes she did say that SJK did all for DOTS success but c'mon that is what a professional actor will respond when being asked about their projects.we call it DIPLOMACY..dont say i hate or think SJK is not that good because tbh yes he is one of the talented actors in this industry. i said this because I have watched his other projects. i watched him for the first time in A Werewolf Boy and he was so amazing in delivering his character in tht movie. and after tht i have became his fan lol..

anyway you may say it salty but i think Signal does have better story plot and the actors also did so well in this drama, unfortunately it didnt recieve so much hype as DOTS had..

There are a lot of reason why DOTS is a success. Even SHK is humble enough to know that/acknowledge that. It's some SJK fans who are over the moon and think that he is all that. It was wrong for you to say SJK is the most deserving. That is really offensive to long time SHK fans who watched diligently all her shows where she was the lead. I wouldn't respond that way if not with that mistaken premise. ANyway we both love DOTS. Just learn to give proper credit.

Hmm-that was his point to start with. SJK had been overly praised for DOTS. He knows that hence his effort to direct the credit to Kyo at each opportunity. Pleased for both of them though.

Okay everyone, the "most deserving" is non existent so is not something to be argued about. SJK would be the first to say he could only do his part well because everyone around him was doing their part well...he did not "carry" the drama, they carried each other. . Common sense. All worked hard and had their own personal challenges to over come, so personal growth experiences also do not count here. But what does is adding up the actor (male or female) how had the biggest overall impact, performed a most unforgettable character, while giving the station the most exposure for their character. It would definitely be Song Joongki...followed by Park Bo Gum. If you think internationally, SJK garnered a cRAZY amount of attention...CRAZY amount, for DOTS! SHK did really well, but her personal impact was smaller. History and longevity should not be included here...it doesn't matter. To me, she was not the best performing actress for KBS drama's. You can't grant top award for someones acting unless it was the best "ranking" drama. To me, some of the "evil" characters should be winning top prizes in these dramas, but it's usually the leading actor. For DOTS Onew, Minseok & Jin Goo were also memorable, but there were just not enough awards. If everyone got an award, awards themselves would be pointless. Moonlight drawn by clouds was more a favorite in my book because the story was better (just my flavor of drama).

People were not salty not because he is not deserving but because there is someone else that deserves the same, or if not deserved it more. SJK only had Innocent Man in his credit. SHK had Full House, Autumn in My Heart and All In (even TWTWB where she won her first APAN Daesang and SBS Tope Excellence Award rated well and also helped the successful military return of Jo In Sung).

Now who's carrying DOTS? DOTS made Song Joong Ki the star that he is now. Song Hye Kyo made DOTS the show that it was, the greatest in recent times. Go search.

You obviously don't know SJK that well. He has more than Innocent Man under his belt and DOTS didn't make him the star he is now, it just turned him into a hallyu star. Big difference.
SJK was at the peak of his popularity in 2012 before the army as he had a hit drama + a hit film (WB) + he had starred in previous successful dramas.

You should use your own advice and search the articles and comments before the drama aired. Most people in Korea were still pissed off with SHK for her tax scandal and were begging SJK not to take this drama (which I found ridiculous as I like SHK). Most Korean viewers (who were women by the way) watched the show for SJK. SHK did draw the international audience, I do aknowledge that.

No need to argue as this is my opinion and I'm entitled to it. You don't have to agree.

Ps: Innocent man (which wasn't a rom com) had higher ratings than TWTWB although SJK didn't have a super famous/senior co-star. How do you explain that if you think that DOTS made SJK.

SHK by the way only had one hit where he was paired with a senior actor, that is, All In. AIMH, FH and TWTWB, she was paired with a contemporary. Plus, her tax case is not the issue her. In fact, it only support the theory that the reason why she isn't properly credited with DOTS success was because of that issue not because of her acting skills.

From 7 couples who won best couple, they have to be one of them. But... the reality is ... nothing. If this is about rating... UF is one of the top 10 highest rating and popular korean drama this year. 😔

honestly,kbs drama awards 2016 host is the best. i don't hate Jun Hyun Moo,but that night he really good,he bring laughter and joy to audience without using a harsh/bad word.i like when he point out song joong ki crying,kwak dong yeon laugh,when geum bi need to choose between park bogum,song joongki,oh jiho,.lol.

Why on earth sunghoo-hyesun couple dont get the best couple award??? they are the reason i enjoy watching five enough.. at least their chemistry is more than oh ji ho couple.. =(
