This doesn't change the simple documented fact that no Government agency can keep their own systems even patched, continuing the 30+ year saga of trying to securing Government systems and networks stretching back to the Regan Presidency. This just adds more bureaucracy, inefficiency and cost to the government that won't change anything. The country is plunging into IoT, that will ensure the easy hacking of our infrastructure, systems, servers and networks, since it has little or no security. WannaCry still reeks havoc because people and companies will not patch or upgrade their systems.
