Have you considered why the Democrats are radicalizing? The distribution of money in the US has become so concentrated and left so much of the population behind that the population is losing faith in our current system, particularly young people who have no negative memories of communism. The failure to deal with this phenomenon will lead to efforts to deal with it that are much more radical than they initially had to be. We’re also running into the younger generation understanding full well that environmental damage is actually dangerous and listening to an entire political party in denial about what the vast majority of climate scientists agree about. That gives the Left a lot of urgency. In short, the Left is getting stronger because the Right is ignoring too many critical problems.
