Life is tough at the top!

Davo42 • 2 years ago

"Hold out visits from your kids" in order to pressure family members to get the jab. Nothing like a good old fashioned shunning as punishment eh Clarke?
Just when I think you couldn't sink any lower into the swamp you open your nasty, manipulative, narcissistic mouth and prove me wrong.......

Raize • 2 years ago

.. Low life. That is how Jehovahs witnesses keep their members in line, shunning family members who dissent. In fact alot of what's going on with labour and msm seems straight out of the Brainwashing 101 Cult Playbook like they've been taking notes from cults. Altho they're actually making JWs look pretty free by comparison

David Theobald • 2 years ago

If you think the fiance in question typed those with his own thumbs, attached to his own arms attached to his own central nervous system, I have a bridge for sale.

Flattanker • 2 years ago

My challenge would be for someone to take him on to defend his views with substance, then watch him stumble trying to stand for someone else's words.

They think we're as thick as they are.

James • 2 years ago

The average voter is a thick as they are unfortunately

Flattanker • 2 years ago

Key should challenge him to a debate, then watch him scuttle away into the twittersphere and hide, rather than have the courage of his convictions. I call coward on Fishy McFishface who comments from the safety of being out of range.

Raize • 2 years ago

These people do need challenging in person (peacefully) an honest direct challenge with logic

Flattanker • 2 years ago

Which is why the PM never goes anywhere where people might actually challenge her. Her safe place is schools and kindy's, which says a lot about her beliefs and willingness to defend them publicly.

Raize • 2 years ago

Clarkes responsible for his twit account tho isn't he? What do you reckon is happening?

Ian • 2 years ago

I take exception to seeing or hearing this taxpayer-funded pseudo fisherman having the audacity to attack one of NZ's better PMs . . . something his bedmate will never be.
Maybe he would earn his keep better by doing the washing, cooking, and making the bed . . . or is this even beyond his limited capabilities!
Shows once again what a taxpayer-funded MSM will publish to keep their bribery payments.

Yobi • 2 years ago

They must be really scraping the bottom of the barrel if they need uteboy to defend them!

Flattanker • 2 years ago

Him playing defense for the weak and insecure one, is like sending a bi-plane up instead of a spitfire in 1940.

XCIA • 2 years ago

You would think that the first fisherman's mantra would be 'discretion is the better part of valour'.

Brian Mattspank • 2 years ago

He would have done well to have worn a 'raincoat' until he made an honest woman out of her then.

Ian • 2 years ago

No that is not right . . . unmarried mother, taxpayer-provided income and housing, live-in boyfriend with ute and boat. Really what Labour is all about!

XCIA • 2 years ago

It would seem there may be a history of such negligence ;-)

STAG • 2 years ago

He doesn't have a clue what either of those words are, let alone comprehend their implications.

XCIA • 2 years ago

Then he'd better be able to use a hammer to secure those wardrobes ;-)

Flattanker • 2 years ago

Nah, these people think they own the world, they can do what they like. Look at Ashley saying pink hair didn't do anything wrong but didn't watch the video. "Dismiss, no need to defend"....

A.Gadsen • 2 years ago

He is just sticking up for his girlfriend out of immature insecurity....seen many schoolboys doing the same. They hopefully eventually grow out of it.

LaidbackSally • 2 years ago

In his case, growing out of it is doubtful!

Larry • 2 years ago

“His girlfriend “ Like she is one of his possessions. He hasn’t grown out of it.

Guest • 2 years ago
Brian Mattspank • 2 years ago

That's not how narcissists work.

STAG • 2 years ago

If I were King, (and we all pray it happens) I would remove Twitter from the country, it offers nothing but harm, by its very format its designed to propagate opinion with no room for facts or debate.

KatB • 2 years ago

All hail King Stag. That has a nice ring to it. Sounds kind of cool.

Ian • 2 years ago

Does he have a harem?

Raize • 2 years ago

Can u kill Facebook too while you're at it. And msm sites. And TV and talkback radio. And local rags. Um.. That's all

Flattanker • 2 years ago

As I said in BC yesterday, it's the most articulate thing he never wrote himself. Her PR team put this out "on his behalf". He's too thick to be able to write all that himself.

KatB • 2 years ago

"Talk to friends, talk to family, talk to neighbours"
Hell no Clarke. didn't you get the memo? Talking to your neighbours is off the cards, too dangerous. Probably too risky talking to friends and family too. Just freeze them out, put them in the cone of silence for not wanting to be part of a medical experiment. That would be the kind thing to do.

Oh and when your girlfriend took the top job, you know the one she gets paid half a million dollars a year to do, she made a deal with the devil then, that she'd be at work 24/7. When you're paid that sort of money, its kind of expected that work will be your life. So it's not the unvaxxed, or some "pandemic" stopping Jacinda from seeing her child, it Jacinda herself who made that decision.

I have a 3 year old that needs to see more of her mum , a lot of people here would love for her to spend all her time with her daughter and stop stuffing up our country.

deja vu • 2 years ago

Clark wants it both ways - exorbitant salary being paid to mum, while doing half the work that she would be doing if she was anyone else. That's not the way the world works, Clark. Here's an idea - we'd all be rejoicing if she was to bring down her amateur 'government' of assorted incompetents, and spend her time looking after her little girl instead - thus letting you off the hook. As it is, she's missed her vocation - she can always own and run a much sought-after kindergarten. She's amply qualified, and could take Neve with her every day. It's high time she took us up on our suggestion. Win/win all round.

LabTested • 2 years ago
and for selfish reasons I have a 3yr old who needs to see more of her mum

Well Mr CG, there are 3yr olds who need to see more of their grandparents… Denied.
There are dying grandparents who need to see more of their family before they pass… Denied
There are families torn apart by arbitrary rules that just need to be back together.. Denied.

Throughout this whole last 18 months I have never been angry before, just followed the news. But how can this selfish egotistical bleep tard write this when other people also

need to see more of her mum

But are denied.

I am so angry that I will see myself out before I get banned for writing what I think about this…

Large Mocha • 2 years ago

To rephrase what I thought of last night.

These governments trying to extort the 'unvaccinated' by blaming them for the country being hold hostage, are like kidnappers telling the family of a hostage that it will be their fault when the hostage is treated badly because a ransom hasn't been paid.

I'm not falling for it. It's the hostage holders who are the criminals, not the people who just want to be left alone.

RPP • 2 years ago

It's not like she is going to see much of her when she whisks off to the UN lobbying trough anyway

Bernard Bedford • 2 years ago

With Clarke being a fisherman I can't help thinking about Moby Dick novel and Captain Ahab's last words. "To the last I grapple with thee, from hell's heart I stab at thee, for hate's sake I spit my last breath at thee."
If it comes to a war of words between key and Clarke, John Key will have the last laugh.

LaidbackSally • 2 years ago

Try reading his twitter tweet thread above, the comments show 99% support.
I guess that is how it normally is on twitter.. the support for the princess is strong!

Large Mocha • 2 years ago

Or it could be one or more of:
a) Jacinda luvvies are more likely to be on twitter
b) they're paid and/or voluntary labour supporters with a mission
c) Jacinda nay-sayers have already been kicked off the platform, or
d) Jacinda nay-sayers don't care enough about the fisherman to comment.

Dr James S • 2 years ago

Hang on. Are we allowed to talk to our neighbours now?

Raize • 2 years ago

Imagine how confusing it must be for karens (no offensive to those named Karen who are not kareny)

Boondecker • 2 years ago

Things must be going really bad in the head of Ardern if this fool is rolled out to speak out for her. Normally, this dude only makes an appearance to sell fluffy stories in woman’s magazines or when it’s a slow news day for the Team of $55million and the peasants need reminding one day he supposedly might ‘jump the broom’ with her.

Alan • 2 years ago

And perhaps he should recall the only thing of any sense Richard Nixon said......

' If you can't stand the heat.......stay out of the kitchen'!

Justwanting • 2 years ago

Hard to jump whilst she is sitting on the broom.

Purple Flower • 2 years ago

So the gist of what Clarke is saying is that John Key doesn't endorse the government strategy so he is bad.

pdm • 2 years ago

Hell Gayford your 3 year olds mum is only working par time any way/ What is more she does not front for bad news or hard issues so really she is probably only a 30% or 40%. Prime Minister.

fightingtemeraire • 2 years ago

I see he is fronting another TV show

Luis Cannon • 2 years ago

She's a bad mother for not seeing more of her daughter. It's Communism or the daughter. Heads the Comrade wins, tails the daughter loses.

Second time around • 2 years ago

It seems strangely misogynist to me. Surely Ardern can do her own battle of wits with Key. It is only brain, not the physical brawn of a male that is required.
