They also took over the secondary sellers and bully them out of sales. Their fees for sellers are ridiculous and they ban you for LIFE from selling when they ban you. I am open minded about a lot of what I see and read on the internet. I recently read an article about a person that had been a member of the illuminati but had became inclined to leave the society. He had published openly a list of 300 people that were members of it. I looked up that list. Many names I expected to find. Others? So many people are selling their souls to the prince of this world for fame, fortune, and luxury. All temporary. All mean nothing. It's possible the CIA could be using Amazon for things not good for America, but remember, many companies have contracts with the gov't, going back to Ross Perro's computer data co., which was almost all made up of gov't contracts.
The financial argument here that the CIA contract has created profits (net income) for Amazon doesn't hold water. Net income from 2012 to 2013 did go from a negative to a positive - but the revenue from 2012 to 2103 increased at the same rate as other years. Revenue - expenses = net income. Jeff has said many times that he likes to keep his net income down to reduce his fed income tax. He does this by increasing his expenses; ie- build a new warehouse instead of giving the money to the gov't at tax time.
Compare net income from 2013 to to 2014: from a positive $274 million to a negative $241 million. Revenues from this time went from $74B to $89B - so while revenues are going up, Jeff just spends more on his company to keep net income down and therefore taxes down.
That's why I don't like the P/E ratio when evaluating Amazon. Jeff has kept the E (earnings number = net income) low by spending on his company, thus increasing the P/E ratio, which "analysts" say is bad. I like the P/S number because the S (sales = revenue) can't be changed by company spending. Amazon's P/S last quarter was 3 - for baseball fans, that would be the same as Willie Mays hitting 4 home runs in a game.

You can tell Amazon is setting everything up in order to go fully automated. They keep using modern robotics to make the warehouse picker's job easier and then promising "don't worry we're not firing anyone, just making your job easier" which allows them to immediately justify docking the workers pay because their job isn't as hard meanwhile they're investing tons of money into automating the picker's job. Our economy is going to be worse than ever if Amazon gets whatever it wants in the next 10 years.

I don't like Amazon and try not to purchase from them. Sometimes I don't have an option, but they can't get rich off my few buys.

The US Government has a cancer. With Obama as president, this cancer has metastasized to infect every organ in the body politic. If the government was a human it would be in a hospice. To be accurate, the DOJ appointed SPECIAL COUNSEL, not a "prosecutor". But I agree that the Trump administration's failure to investigate someone he previously said should be in prison, is very fishy.
