An excellemt tutorial :)
"One thing about baking an application from scratch is that it bakes the application with a new, random Security Salt variable. Pretty cool huh?" - I didn't know this sweet fact! Before reading your blog I was baking in the original cake directory and everything was getting messy... and each time I had to re-define the Path in the system for each of my test projects :(. Now I put the original fresh cake backup in xampp\cake\ and create the new projects in new directory.. so coo! :D
I'm a novice.. your tips helped me a lot... really a great article to begin with cake bake.
Thanks
Adnan

Using Bake is so cool! I just started using it and it's just amazing. I used PHP for years, but never gone into the Shell's area.
Nice tutorial :)
Thanks very much...
This solves my problem...
Im a begginer on baking industry... looking forward for more ideas here..
Keep up the good work
This rocks, thank you. I'm just getting started in CakePHP and I love it's power so far. Thanks for the help and keep up the good work
Very Helpful thanks for this article, took a minute to get used too, but after couple tries it worked perfectly for wamp.
Thanks a lot. It's been a great help. Screen shots would be more helpful especially for the newbies who wants to be a guru like me..
Every time I try to bake I get the following error message: "Call to undefined function: mysqli_connect() in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/cake/libs/model/datasources/dbo/dbo_mysqli.php on line 113" or the equivalent if I change to mysql instead of mysqli. Why is this function undefined to my terminal, and where would it have normally been defined (the error message obviously tells me where it's being called).
*- I'm on a Mac running MAMP, which you probably figured out from the filepath above. I don't think this should have any effect though.
Thanks! Very Helpful in figuring out how to use Bake!
Thanks, this was very helpful as I try to migrate from 1.1
