Scumbag Carney "...blamed his [Bulger's] death on prison officials, saying Bulger 'was sentenced to life in prison, but as a result of decisions by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, that sentence has been changed to the death penalty.'" WRONG, Carney. Bulger is responsible for his own death. If he hadn't murdered, lied, snitched, embezzled, smuggled, and corrupted, he wouldn't have been in prison and he wouldn't have been killed. Ultimately it's his own fault, so don't go trying to blame others. He got what he deserved, plain and simple.

PLEASE DO NOT WASTE OUR TIME.

I am not interested in which criminal-with-a-grudge killed Bolger. Who I want to see prosecuted is the prison guard or administrator who KNEW Bolger was targeted for murder and decided to either just let the murder happen...or to facilitate it.

This is only secondarily a murder. This is primarily a death while in custody, and it due to the negligence--inadequate precautions--or malfeasance of somebody drawing a federal BOP paycheck.

We need to be handed some prison official's a55, and not be distracted or satisfied by some prosecutor giving an imprisoned murderer ANOTHER life sentence in addition to the ones he's already serving.

The real story here is the hellish inhumanity of the prison system known internationally as the American Gulag .
Nobody should wink at the murder of ANY prisoner , especially a now frail elderly walking dead man.
How quickly the tenets of Christianity are forgotten .

Why should Christianity have anything to do with it?

Ron Ruggieri • 5 years ago

Would anybody whose moral conscience was shaped by the tenets of Christianity ask that ? The " liberal " Democrats and many Republicans are an odd collection of Ayn Rand atheists and secular- non religious- Zionists. THEY set the standards for political correctness and RIGHT thinking in American capitalist society.
They working class majority is elsewhere. They take the Ten Commandments seriously : " Thou shalt not kill " inscribed on those frequently REMOVED monuments.

Paul, don't bother dealing with that nutbag tRamp tRoll. I've blocked him, so I can't read his comments (thankfully). You'll be better of blocking the psycho instead of engaging with him.

Bulger is right up there with transgender. NPR won’t let us down.

I cannot summon up any sympathy for Bulger. I'm sure he more than deserved what he got.

But the hatred for "rats" and "snitches" is deeply destructive to society. There should at least be a universal respect for truth.

The problem here is Bulger was using the FBI to get away with other crimes. So it's not as if he was some altruistic mobster who suddenly decided he was going to come clean. The man made a calculated choice and hoped to get away with it. It's amazing he lasted as long as he did.
