I am convinced that Roosevelt let it happen. The contributing factors kept adding up and making war inevitable, but the American people were not willing. In the '30s the development of aircraft carriers into the topmost role pissed off the old guard of battleship supporters, so the attack at Pearl swept the stage of heavy armor, leaving the carriers as the sole means of fleet muscle. The depression was easing, with the 'make work' projects (that created a mass dependence upon corporate utilities), but the explosion of industrial activity for the war effort virtually created the middle class and saw an unprecedented advance in many technical areas. The oil embargo against Japan literally forced her into picking a fight. And, of course, the Federal Reserve had a great time loaning the US the money for a war fought on many fronts. I wonder how many countries were forced into accepting a central bank by that war?

We are never taught about the coup d'etat of 1933 b/c it's how the Vatican controls the "Nation" through the Commander in Chief. One of the hidden awful secrets of Pearl Harbor is the fact that it was black men who were left to die at the bottom of the ships. Their tapping to let people know they were still alive went unheeded for days!

Troops were segregated and all blacks except for cooks and waiters were forced to live at the bottom of the ships, below the water line! They showered in salt water while whites had fresh water. The only time they were allowed above deck was while they waited in line to eat in the mess AFTER the whites had eaten. They were allowed a small section on deck which was filled with equipment! ...and no one says a word, shhhhhh
