Dear John,
I had a system with four solar panels Victron Energy, two 75V/15A charge regulators and two BMV-700 monitors. All was perfectly functioning. Some days ago I have added other panels to my system and I have changed the two charge regulators with two 100V/30A, cause the increased power. Now the system is well functioning: panels, regulators (monitored throught the Bluetooth app), except the two BMV-700 monitors, displaying everytime "CONNECTING". I tryed to reset them to the factory defaults, but they do not respond.
It is important to restore them, because the Bluetooth app displays only the power in Watts and in Volts entering, but not more, while the BMV-700 shows many informations more.
What can I do?
Thank you for your kind answer and have my best regards.

https://uploads.disquscdn.c...https://uploads.disquscdn.c...https://uploads.disquscdn.c... Hello! ... I have a BMV-600S I'm installing in my sailboat. Must the positive fused wire connect directly from the shunt to the positive terminal on the battery? I would like to run it through my positive bus, which has a fused connection to the battery.

My customer has 12 US2000 Pylontech Lithium-ion batteries and he will probably add 4 more soon. He does have a Hub and a Color GX. He is interested in the BMV 712 smart. Will we need more than one unit to support his batteries?

I don't know how to

Hi David,
At the top of the Community page there is a 'Sign in' which links to this page: https://community.victronen...
From there you can register a username and password ...and become a member of our community.
Alternatively, if you don't wish to create a user account, you can type your question into the search bar - under the Victron logo on the Community page - to discover interesting conversations which have already taken place concerning the BMV-712 / current measurement.
The reason we can't answer you here, I'm afraid, is that we no longer host technical questions on this page.

Should the BMV 712 monitor the amount of power comming in from the solar panel. At the moment it only shows the output from the battery. Cheers.

Why does my CC GX reboot every 2 hours?

Justin Lynch • 4 years ago

Can the BMV-712 Smart be used with the Lynx Shunt? The BMV-702 specifically says that it does in the product data sheet but the 712 Smart doesnt have it listed in it's data sheet.

We have a Victron Energy MultiPlus 48/5000/70‐100 (5000VA), 2x MPPT‐Charger Victron Energy BlueSolar MPPT 150/85 with a colour control and 24x Hoppecke sun|power VR L (OPzV solar.power) 1250.
Recently we had to replace two batteries and attached exactly the same type (the "old" batteries were working for about 1,5 years). Of course, the cell voltage in the new one was a bit lower than in the once permanently used because of a long transport time to Africa (2.13 to nominell 2,25 V), Victron recommends in that case a manuell cell balancing, But I cannot find this option in the menu of the colour control. Is there anyone out there who can provide a step by step introduction considering our set-up in Malawi? Thanks and best regards, Bernd
