"Rep. Omar's use of an anti-Semitic stereotype was offensive and irresponsible. …...No one should invoke antisemitic tropes during policy disagreements. " C. Schumer. Does that mean they are allowed any other time ?

There is a way to handle ethno-religious national identity that does not pretend there are no minorities. See Israel. As to the broader question of whether anybody outside of Arabia should consider themselves Arab is a personal identity question, but it does seem to me a little sad that all these different ethnic people lost themselves to the Arabs just because they believed Mohammed to be a prophet (cf. Afghans, Pakis, Persians, Yezidis, Turks, etc. who didn't).

Doesn't anyone think how strange that the voices of progress and change are from young women like Yamina Thabet,.be it in Tunisia, Iran or a survivor like the young Yatsi girls who speak out and stand the real rights of women and those other minority groups who suffer persecution.

People like her a tiny minority in the Islamic world in part because of people like Nancy Pelosi in the West, who is too obsequious to criticize Ilhan Omar's bigotry and antisemitism. What chance do REAL moderates have in the Muslim World when the bigots and terrorists are applauded and rationalized in the West?
