The UN is a worthless organization that cow-tows to the Islamic states. It is high time the organization is disbanded.

D Davis • 5 years ago

The UN is a disgrace to global peace, is a useless and irrelevant organization, is biased against Israel even if Israel does everything right and is totally anti-Semitic

Mary Sygall • 5 years ago

The UN has been occupied, infiltrated and taken over by the Arabs and the rest of the world is standing by. Especially anti-Semitic, racist Hungary.

Peter Cohen • 5 years ago

I am no fan of Orban period. But Sudan is a worse nation than Hungary. Hungary has some pro-Jewish Christians. Sudan hates Jews except the 10,000 in Israel who get free food and housing. However, Hungary mistreats Roma/Sinti people harshly and I agree Orban is likely a racist. I simply state that Hungary is not about to bomb Tel Aviv but there are several Arab nations and people who would love to.

Grace Joy • 5 years ago

Plus, they're united against Soros.

Henderson_m • 5 years ago

The problem is that EVERYONE IS ANTISEMITE! everyone wants the destruction of the Jews and the Jewish state! JUST IGNORE THEM and stop funding the UN.

Mary Sygall • 5 years ago

I agree, stop funding them, but you can't ignore anti-semitism. You have to act against it. "bad things happen when good people do nothing" So let's condemn anti-Semitism.

gnsr • 5 years ago

Israel doesn't do everything right. Its Westbank settlements violate the Fourth Geneva Convention.

Colin Taylor • 5 years ago

BS !

Ron • 5 years ago

How convoluted a mind would make such an assertion?

squeakywheel3 • 5 years ago

The settlements 'violate' nothing of the sort.

They have every right, in law, to be precisely where they are, to grow, and to flourish.

evangeline golding • 5 years ago

There are NO Jewish settlements anywhere in Israel. They are towns, villages and communities.
I realise that you know this, but everybody has to stop using the 's' word in relation to Jewish communities in Israel.
They are not the invaders and occupiers. That's the arabs.

squeakywheel3 • 5 years ago

Well, I would say that the settlements ARE towns, villages and communities.

The problem with avoiding the word, "settlement," altogether is that, as originally used --- for example, in the text of the Mandate Charter (Articles 6 & 11, respectively) --- the expression had no exploitative, colonialist, or otherwise negative valence at all.

And if we allow the opposition to pressure us into constantly retreating from language that they have hijacked for their "politically correct" purposes, there'll simply be no end of it. The reality is that whoever controls the language. . . . controls likewise the direction of the debate. The Left has been notorious for the practice of altering the meaning of words for the purpose of promoting its agenda.

A few examples that come promptly to mind:

rights
family
resistance
gay
terrorism
marriage
torture
alive
gender
apartheid

But, on reflection, the list is long & tiresome --- and if the Left has its way, it'll become endless.

Rather than look for euphemisms for perfectly good words, I'm more inclined to simply use the originals but insist on their original meaning as well (quixotic as such an outlook may appear at first blush).

It's an objective fact that the settlements have nothing to do with invasion or occupation --- and the opposition needs to hear that fact expressed: calmly, proudly, firmly and repeatedly.

One man's opinion, of course.

evangeline golding • 5 years ago

I get what you're saying, but the point is that the word has been hijacked. Today, I think, most people wouldn't even know the original meaning of the word, and they probably wouldn't take the time or trouble to look it up.
The left, as always, has changed the meaning of it fundamentally, and whole generations have been indoctrinated to believe what they say. That's why I think we should not use the word 'settlement' here, in relation to Israeli communities. It has come to mean something terrible.

David Simonim • 5 years ago

You are 100% correct. Both Israel and the US should leave the UN and get it out of America

Daveed • 5 years ago

Correct. And who with a brain cares about how many toothless, racist, anti-Jewish resolutions they pass.

Conservative American • 5 years ago

In other words, business as usual.

kcir321 • 5 years ago

Who cares what the UN said, they are nothing but corrupt evil child rapist and worthless to mankind

lesrun5k • 5 years ago

I am with you,who cares. They have zero revelency in anything,we all know its been infected with sand roaches along with their evil hate campaign ,bias against the great holy land of ISRAEL.

fof9l • 5 years ago

The results are expected, but I'm more concerned about the voting records of countries like the UK, the EU bloc, Canada, and other countries whose support Israel should be able to look to if their delegates are listening to the discussion and voting with anything other than their national pocketbooks. At this point in time, those results are not yet published, but we should all keep our eyes open and hold governments to account for their voting records, especially the UK government.

callef • 5 years ago

Why not even Sweden , l’ll keep my eyes open too.

Grace Joy • 5 years ago

Sweden belongs to Is lam.

callef • 5 years ago

Are you joking with me - do you mean Sweden an Islamic country or just paralyzed when it comes to this question?

Grace Joy • 5 years ago

I may have misunderstood. I meant no offense. What I meant is that Sweden will be voting for the Global Compact for Migration along with the rest of EU; which means She will vote against Israel across the board. Sweden already has the reputation of being the r ape capital of EU thanks to the "feminist" government there. Once the Compact is signed Dec 10, it will be illegal to criticize "immigration;" & illegal to insult Is lam (Blasphemy law). Come Dec 10, all who sign the Compact will be part of the new Mus lim Caliphate.

BareNakedIs lam has a recent article "Under the sui cidal UN Global Migration Pact, any criticism (media, political, or internet) of a country’s predominantly mass Mus lim migration policies could land you in jail." You can see the video of the Netherlands MP there. or on youtube "Marcel de Graaff: Criticism of migration will be criminal offence."

"'It is declaring migration as a human right so it will, in effect, become impossible to criticize Angela Merkel’s welcome migrants politics without being at risk of being jailed for hate speech.'

The document is an 'intergovernmentally negotiated agreement, prepared under the auspices of the United Nations, that covers all dimensions of international migration in a holistic and comprehensive manner.' One of the 'guiding principles' of the document asks for a 'whole-of-society approach' to promoting mass migration, including the role of the media.

Governments are asked to 'promote independent, objective and quality reporting… and stopping allocation of public funding or material support to media outlets that systematically promote intolerance, xenophobia, racism and other forms of discrimination towards the mainly Muslim migrants.'”

Grace Joy • 5 years ago

Of those you mentioned, only USA pulled out of the UN's Global Compact for Migration. EU is lost; & Canada will sign. East Europe is OK.

gnsr • 5 years ago

Israel should comply with the Fourth Geneva Convention.

patricia Fleming • 5 years ago

You have no idea what you are talking about. UN..supports murderous regimes, like Syria and North Korea...to mention a few. Which "Convention"are they complying to? Israel has a legal right to the land, which has been demonstrated by International lawyers...in the new DVD..."Whose Land". Such double standards you adhere to?

David Simonim • 5 years ago

Well said

gnsr • 5 years ago

Israel does not have the right to the westbank.

squeakywheel3 • 5 years ago

Says WHO?

squeakywheel3 • 5 years ago

Israel most certainly DOES comply with the Fourth Geneva Convention.

fof9l • 5 years ago

Please explain which part of the Convention you are alleging that Israel does not comply with. If you cannot, then do us all a favour and disappear. Put up or shut up.

henry schachter • 5 years ago

They don't call Britain "perfidious Albion" for nothing. When it comes to the Middle East the "Camel Corp" at the foreign office still dream of Empire and control of oil. This will never change

fof9l • 5 years ago

I saw on another post that the UK did vote against one of the resolutions, although there was no further detail. I wonder which one it was that produced that "thumbs-down" from the Camel Corps.

henry schachter • 5 years ago

So, on ONE occasion Britain did the right thing at the UN !!!
Big deal. 90% of the time it abstains and 9.75% times it votes AGAINST Israel. Hypocrites nothing else

kktex12 • 5 years ago

And ALL nations shall come against Israel.

lesrun5k • 5 years ago

But the remainder of this verse i believe is, Jerusalem shall become an immovable rock ?For me she / Israel will always be victorious regardless of who / how many comes against her.

RYAN • 5 years ago

Keep dreaming. The world needs Israel they make it possible for TROLLS like you to be able to have a computer otherwise you'd have to use the rock to inscribe your anti semitic rhetoric. You know the one you're going to stone your goat I mean wife with. But we shouldn't blame you after all you couldn't help your 1st cousin being your wife.

Pickelodeon • 5 years ago

RYAN you might have misinterpreted what kktex12 meant. He actually posted what's in Zechariah 12:3.

Pickelodeon • 5 years ago

kktex12 see Zechariah 12:1-9 for Biblical authority on what you posted. God does not lie. The prophecy will happen.

patricia Fleming • 5 years ago

Yes, and they will all lose. The G-d of Israel will have the victory. For His own Glory.

so what else is new. another day, another condemnation of Israel--the creepy muslim nations of nothing did it again

Erin Eldridge • 5 years ago

The UN is a corrupt, biased, irrelevant organisation which has totally betrayed the principles on which it was founded. Six million dead not enough for them? They want more? Let them fulminate. They just make themselves look like the idiots they are. The Jewish people and Israel will be thriving when the UNO is a vague, embarrassing memory.
