It occurs to me that I have read too many articles about one or another so-called "peace plan" over the years, all of which represent some foreign nation or group of nations trying to involve themselves in a conflict within a country that is not theirs. I have to wonder what would happen if everyone just left the matter to be resolved by the folks who live here? Would people be killed? Probably. But that has been happening anyway, and for a long time, since way before the formation of any of the modern nations in the region. Now it seems to me that folks should ask, who is seeking to uphold humanitarian values and who is seeking to promote criminal and misanthropic behavior? It is Israelis who do the former and non-Israeli Muslim Arabs the latter, if we generalize. Hence we should hope that these former would assert justice upon the latter, whether by imprisonment or capital execution, as justice would require. Only thus has peace been assured in any society.
