I thought the Amazon 'Christmas' ornaments etc were an idiotic aberration, but now I learn that a firm will print ANY image required on beach bags, towels and other trivial items INCLUDING images of nazi death camps and mass graves! Where is common sense, respect and decency? Where are the laws to enforce respect and decency if these artists and manufacturers do not have an iota of it themselves? Why are already atrociously wronged people having to upset themselves protesting against gross insult added to horrible injury? It beggars belief. These companies and manufacturers need boycotting until they're ruined.

The very fact that all posters here have stated, in some form or another, that they've had to protest the selling of this horrible merchandise for the seller to take it down suggests we have reached an incredibly low period in history.

Individual challenges need to be backed by law. In the UK, we have laws covering matters like this. They are not perfect as we've seen with the Corbyn controversy, but they do work.

All decent people should be lobbying for laws that curb anything that is seriously offensive on a race and/or religious basis. In some countries, they will have to find a way to modify freedom of speech laws, but it must be done.

We got the ones by "artist" Paul Fell taken down. Amazon also had them as well as Christmas ornaments with concentration camp photos on them. Supposedly, they were all removed. But, as soon as some are taken down, more pop up. It is disgusting.

I learned about this yesterday and wrote to the company. They are removing the offensive items-but really, does it take our protests to make them realize how egregious an offensive to sell this merchandise??

If the item insulted or even unintentionally offended Muslims or officially "oppressed" minorities the offending party would be hung out to dry and permanently blacklisted.

I also emailed them and tweeted them about this and that very fact that it takes protesting to get such offensive things removed. Of course, all they had was platitudes.

Amazon had similar disgraceful items and had also taken them down, once there was a terrible backlash. But, you make a perfect point.
