Lebanon society consists of about 13 main factions: varieties of Christians, varieties of Muslims, Druz, etc. (they used to have Jews too, but Jews were chased out of the country).
Thanks to French who created Lebanon's Constitution each faction is UNequally represented in Lebanese government, but all of them have representation still.
So, from this perspective all of them "inseparable" as is Hezbollah that is representing Shia.

This article is quite accurate. My theory is that Ammonium Nitrate was brought to this port and left there. It was initially reported that the Lebanese government confiscated the load for some odd reason. I believe that Hezbollah discovered the Ammonium Nitrate and planned to infiltrate Israel and use it as a weapon of mass destruction. I also believe that they were preparing to ship it to Haifa or Tel Aviv when an accidental explosion occurred. It was easy to ship it down the Mediterranean outside of Israeli waters and then make a mad dash to one of these ports and be either detonated by a timer, set to explode, or by a suicide bomber. Ammonium Nitrate should be considered as the poor mans atomic bomb. Israel should be on high-alert believing that Hezbollah may attack to hide intelligence that will link them to this foiled plot against Israel.

ammonium nitrate that produced the white cloud similar to a nuclear explosion in physical appearance and the reddish brown smoke as a result of the nitrogen dioxide being produced as a result of the decomposition
of the ammonium nitrate over a long period of time, ie the years that the ammonium nitrate had been stored since it was confiscated.

Anyone using explosives would take adequate precautions for their storage but storage of fertiliser such as ammonium nitrate does not require such high level of precaution.
