All the pallys working for israeli wineries for normal salaries instead of the meager one they get from their own ilk will surely thank this lawyer guy.

TigLy • 4 years ago

The whole premise of "BDS" is false; it does not have anything to do with Israel controlling just The West Bank (Judea and Samaria) or Golan because of wars that came from those places against Israel. It is based on Israel's very existence as what Israel has always been, a Jewish state. I think the answer is to continue to buy wines from all of Jewish Palestine or Syria aka the state of Israel which is The Jewish Homeland.

skier69 • 4 years ago

There is no Palestine so there can’t be Palestinian wine.

mikeatkron • 4 years ago

There are only Fakestinian whiners!

442rocketdave • 4 years ago

Canada is resembling France and the UK with their ant Semitism and hatred for the Jewish people its a dirty rotten shame but then the Canadians have a black history themselves of discrimination and racism.

Charles Cave • 4 years ago

The key to this ridiculous article is in the second paragraph. There is no such country of "Palestine". Show me or anyone else a world map that shows a country of "???????" except maybe one produced in the West Bank of Israel made by so called Palestinians.

Gershon Perry • 4 years ago

THE MAJORITY OF THE SO CALLED FALASTINIS ARE FROM ARABIA, SYRIA AND EGYPT. THEY HAVE THE RIGHT OF RETURN TO ARABIA AND THERE IS AMPLE SPACE THERE FOR THEM. S STONE THROW FROM MECCA,

Charles Cave • 4 years ago

Gershon. Thanks for the truth. It's to bad Israel doesn't send them all away from the West Bank, the Gaza strip and anywhere else they have settled illegally.

Why would anyone want to drink Arab wine, when they fertilize their trees, with their own excrement.

Nichus Block • 4 years ago

arabs don't even drink, what would they know about making wine?

fof9l • 4 years ago

Ah, but don't forget, Pallys like to claim that they're not Arabs.

Gershon Perry • 4 years ago

WHEN IT SUITES THEM THEY ARE CANAANITES WHEN MONEY IS IS INVOLVED THEY ARE PALESTINIANS.

stargood • 4 years ago

Of course they're not Arabs. "Palestinians" are descendants of the Canaanites. Mahmoud Abbas said so!

“There is no such country as Palestine. ‘Palestine’ is a term the Zionists invented. There is no Palestine in the Bible. Our country was for centuries part of Syria. ‘Palestine’ is alien to us. It is the Zionists who introduced it.” Auni Bey Abdul-Hadi, Syrian Arab leader to British Peel Commission, 1937.

“There is no such thing as Palestine in history, absolutely not.” Professor Philip Hitti, Arab historian, 1946

“It is common knowledge that Palestine is nothing but Southern Syria.” Representative of Saudi Arabia at the United Nations, 1956

stargood • 4 years ago

Charles, you are preaching to the choir here with your reply to me. I thought it was clear I was being facetious since I put "Palestine" in quotes. I suppose next time I should insert a "/s" (snark mark) at the end of my comment. By the way, did you know that Adam & Eve were "Palestinians?"

Gershon Perry • 4 years ago

THE SO CALLED PALESTINIANS ARE IMMIGRANTS AND DWELLERS FROM THE WHOLE OTTOMAN EMPIRE. "FROM AFGHANISTAN TO SPANISH MOROCCO" (CHURCHILL)

Charles Martell III • 4 years ago

“As I lived in Palestine, everyone I knew could trace their heritage back to the original country their great grandparents came from. Everyone knew their origin was not from the Canaanites, but ironically, this is the kind of stuff our education in the Middle East included.

“The fact is that today’s Palestinians are immigrants from the surrounding nations! I grew up well knowing the history and origins of today’s Palestinians as being from Yemen, Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Christians from Greece, Muslim Sherkas from Russia, Muslims from Bosnia, and the Jordanians next door.

“My grandfather, who was a dignitary in Bethlehem, almost lost his life at the hands of Abdul Qader Al-Husseni after being accused of selling land to Jews.

“My father used to tell us that his village Beit Sahur (The Shepherds Fields) in Bethlehem County was empty before his father settled in the area with six other families. The town has now grown to 30,000 inhabitants.” Walid Shoebat.

Baruch • 4 years ago

Palestinian wine? Like Israeli pork, must be a tiny niche market hardly worth sweating over, if there even is such a thing. N'est-ce pas?

QaakAufim • 4 years ago

We need to counter-boycott all Pal goods, in Canada, the US, and wherever else their s**t gets sold.

cbusa • 4 years ago

I would never buy any of their stuff anyway. Liable to spontaneously explode!

agnes losonczi • 4 years ago

:))))))))))))!!!!!!!! WHAT pally goods?! Do they have any?!

fof9l • 4 years ago

How is that possible? There are no Pal goods, because there is no Palestine.

Dean Blake • 4 years ago

BDS maple syrup!!!! How big a market is imported wine in Canada? Principles yes. But is that where our efforts against Canadian antisemitism should be placed? Do goyem even seek kosher wines? Let Canada drink Okanagan rotgut. If we win, what is accomplished? Don't expect consistency in the application of the law re Jews. We should, but hey, its Canada. They will understand BDS maple syrup.

mikeatkron • 4 years ago

Why not also BDS Canadian wines, other Canadian products and Canadian whiners? The Israeli Ministry of Strategic Affairs keeps a database of BDS supporters and other momzers inadmissible for entry into Israel. Add Trudeau, Kattenburg, Rodman, Mactavish and other Canadian douchebags to that database!

Steve Freund • 4 years ago

Whenever another BS BDS threat occurs, simply refuse to sell to that district/area, whatever, and also stop selling medical goods to places that promote BDS. Israel gives the world so much and all they get in return is hatred. Let's see how they like it when Israel cuts off all the medical innovations.

Jeffrey Wilens • 4 years ago

Israel should simply compel all exports from Judea and Samaria, whether from a Jewish or Arab business, to be labeled made in Israel. Any boycott will have to effect every business, not pick on the Jewish ones.

Kiev Ukraine • 4 years ago

No need to reinvent the wheel. Why not continue what Israeli settlers have been doing all along? Price-tag attacks!

Therefore: Cut down and burn an Arab olive tree for every Jewish bottle of wine Europe refuses to buy that was made in occupied West Bank. And when you run out of olive orchards to burn, start burning the Palestinians out of their homes! After all, price-tag attacks have been largely successful and completely unprosecuted by Israel so far...

Or you can continue to claim everything produced by Jews in OT is "made in Israel", but don't complain when every product exported by Israel comes under BDS sanctions.

Shalom.

stargood • 4 years ago

First of all, the area is properly called Judea & Samaria, or Yehuda & Shomron. Not "occupied West Bank." If you want to support Israelis living in our ancestral homeland, then the terminology you use is important. Secondly, committing crimes is not the way to fight BDS. We have the truth on our side, and the "palestinians" do not.

Edit: From your other posts, I see you do not support Jews living in our ancestral homeland. So your above post was facetious. In that case, go to Hell, scum.

Gelson's grocery in Sherman Oaks labels shelves as "Made in Israel " which seems pointless as its shabbos candles and gefilta fish. They don't label any other shelves as to country origin.
I don't think Kroger carries WB wines at all at least not any more.
They do feature Kerry Irish butter,, Ireland that supports BDS and whose Google employees pulled down Prager Univ. Youtubes after Praeger made a great speech at Oxford Univ.
BDS seems to be everywhere.
How do we address it? I called the ACLU and no reply.

Dave Kaplan • 4 years ago

Let us all remember that BDS, as per its' own documents and its' leader, are 100% about the extermination of Israel. This is irrefutable. Therefore, Canada has officially allied itself with a movement that wishes to commit genocide.
That being said, I think the US seriously needs to contemplate cutting off trade with you. We actually fought a war to get rid of people like you and lost over 418,000 dead. Come to think of it, you used to be on our side.
Now you are fast becoming a lost cause.

Canada is becoming rabidly anti Semitic as it allows more and more Yisra’el hating Muslims into its beautiful country.
Yisra’eli’s need to get used to this as the western world crumbles under the Muslim conquest of the western mindset. Return to Yahowah’s Towrah and all will be well for you. Stay estranged and it will end very badly

Dave Kaplan • 4 years ago

Canada hates Jews, Israel and the US, obviously. If they want to engage in trade war with the US, consider it on. No more trips and no pruchases of anything Canadian.
You have no one to blame but yourselves.

jill0122 • 4 years ago

I am from Alberta, Canada and I'm 100% for Israel and actively campaign against BDS. Especially in the West (Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba), many of us despise Trudeau and what he's done here, and even want the west to separate from Canada. Trudeau is destroying Canada and hopefully Trudeau will be voted out in October!

Israel is the only Democracy in the Middle East. The West Bank has not yet been annexed by Israel therefore products made in the West Bank are labeled 'made in Palestine'. When and if Israel annexes Judea and Samaria Israel will become an Apartheid State like South Africa before Nelson Mandela was elected. Israel will be then boycotted on a global scale without full Palestinian voting rights.

Jeffrey Wilens • 4 years ago

Except there is no country known as Palestine. The West Bank is not properly called "Palestine." What's good for the goose is good for the gander. Label wines are coming from a particular winery and the name of the city.

Israel will not become an apartheid state. The USA annexed Puerto Rico but did not grant citizenship for 20 years and still has not granted the right to vote in US elections. No congressman or senator. Is the USA an apartheid state? I think not.

Richard DiBenedetto • 4 years ago

Apparently Canada has recognized Palestine. Elements of the UN have recognized Palestine. The Vatican has recognized Palestine. Some countries recognize Ottoman Arabs in the West Bank as Palestinians. It remains unclear, I agree. I don't think annexing Judea and Samaria will be as easy as Donald Trump giving his permission or as easy as Prime Minister Netanyahu implies with his campaign promises. We can only wait and see.
