The main hurdle in tourism, as well as other sectors, is policy. The VAT issue, many unnecessary licenses, hefty fees for everything, etc., are all impediments in this business. We are losing to competitors due to bad policy. We must streamline the fee and tax policy to stimulate economic growth. We must remember, for example, income tax will come from INCOME and therefore there must be some business for it to be. It is not HEAD tax.
