Judy, I miss you. I thought of you randomly tonight when working out a PR issue and found myself thinking 'what would Judy do' ... I miss this girl. Her fun, her kindness, her willingness, her friendship. RIP lovely lady xx

I was really shocked to hear about the passing of PR stalwart Judy McCluskey last week. I've known Judy for 26 years and as a fellow Aussie, we had a special relationship when I worked for Tourism Australia and afterwards. To say Judy was driven is an understatement. She worked so hard to build up her company, keep all of her clients happy while being a mum as well. Something many of us do I guess. But Judy was determined and she succeeded where many failed. She always had a smile on her face and was so gracious, even when they lost a PR pitch! I will miss seeing her around the travel scene. Our passing meetings at WTM or similar always reminded me, as Aussies, of our journey in PR and marketing together here in the UK. Like another Aussie PR stalwart Bronwyn Gold Blyth, who also passed away just over ten years ago, Judy came over to the UK with nothing and really made her mark. Hats off to you Judy. You had my greatest respect and I'm sorry it had to end this way. RIP mate.

Not only was Judy a real pro, she was also fun. I knew her a long time rather than well but the world will be a lesser place without her
