Does anyone know if the EU and the relevant countries and taking any steps to curb
this behavior ? The airlines and their passengers will have to wait for the gutless politicians to stir ! Unfortunately all the countries involved have socialist governments who will not see this action as harmful to the national interest.

Your are absolutely right. It is time the EU did something useful and put a stop to this kind of disruption, that has been going on for years, instead of worrying about wonky bananas! They should not be allowed to hold Europe to ransom in this way as they never seem to achieve anything in the long run. Surely there must already be an EU directive in place which they have clearly ignored.....as usual.

I agree we are held ransom.
