Money will thwart any regulations to limit access to the Galapagos Islands, and excessive tourism and Island population will eventually destroy the Islands' environments and their flora and fauna.  Politicians and tour operators and services organizations want the money now!  Sadly, Island visitors are now approaching 200,000 per year and Islands' population now exceeds 40,000.  And where does all the human waste and pollution go?  Richard Hahn

Please not that the limitation is for cruise travel only and it allows for a minimum stay of 3 nights. The maximum stay in the Islands can be stretched to 90 days.
