The thought of wearing a face mask from entering the airport until arriving at our hotel fills me with absolute dread. I get so hot and bothered wearing it and my glasses steam up, I cannot bear the thought of the journey. Spain is requesting all visitors wear masks in all public areas . I have two holidays to Spain with Jet2 coming up in September and I don't wish to go on either, a holiday wearing a face mask is not what I signed up for. I want to postpone until the requirement for face masks has been lifted but I'm pretty sure this will not be allowed without incurring huge financial loss. I'm not the only person to feel like this surely?

Carmel - you have summed up my feelings exactly.
It sounds like a nightmare.
We have a holiday to Zante at the end of September and just hoping that somehow things may have improved by then.
May decide to pay an admin fee ( which is usually £50pp) to change it to next year if we really have to.
The only problem is that no one has a clue as to when the requirement to wear a face mask may be lifted so there is no guarantee that even by shunting your holiday to next year things will have changed.
Wearing face masks has suddenly become an obsession with with a % of the population despite the minimal effect wearing a mask has - so I fear it may become the norm - which will put many others who have similar feelings as us off ever flying again !!

Well, whatever that`s intended to mean its interesting that Jet2 are telling their passengers to wear face masks continuously from entering the airport, during the flight to leaving the airport. How then do they square that will serving meals, snacks and drinks on the flight?
Do not believe anything airlines are telling us, they are just desperate to get our money and to hell with safety.
