Accessibility exceeds demand - far to many seats on offer just look at the North Atlantic routes. Recently two carriers Liverpool to Alicante operated with just 30 passengers each same date and within 10 mins of each other. Stuff your politics - to many seats on offer. On many routes and more-so UK to Gulf take away the taxes and the carrier is working for blood. From the UK to Dubai - Abu Dhabi - Doha and Muscat just these four hubs have in excess if 14 million seats per year. Overcapacity is the real issue.
