Really disappointing that the Fairlight Jones
directors failed to pay non-package holiday receipts into into a Trust Account despite assurances on the company’s website and booking conditions stating that these monies were protected. The trustees and the Financial Director and other directors have failed in their fiduciary duties by not protecting these monies.
This leaves customers exposed when they thought they had protection. Once again shocking behaviour by senior employees/directors of another company.
Please promote to your readers the protection offered, if you pay by debit card, through the “chargeback scheme” available via your bank.
Any bookings made with Fairlight Jones, although there appears to be a 'chargeback scheme' via your bank if you paid by debit card, that doesn't appear to apply if you paid by bank transfer.
Has anybody experienced this situation?
