Travelopia Part 2. Long overdue in my view! Non-core businesses that are complex, unwieldy and have few positions of real/authentic alignment often clog up the creative and financial agendas of businesses like TUI. Cutting loose and allowing them to flourish in a competitive arena is a very strategic thing to do. In short, TUI can do something more productive and more rewarding with £100m than trying to sweat bone-dry assets.
