I see that BA have increased the World Traveller Plus seats to 56 on their new A350 :).........But no loos in WTP :(........again BA are thinking £££ rather than giving passengers Value for Money....Fly anyone but BA!

The vast majority of customers fly short haul in the back of the plane. There, the catering deal with M&S is truly awful. On Saturday, I flew in economy with Turkish from Istanbul to Izmir and then joined a BA flight to Heathrow. On the 1 hour domestic flight, I was given a substantial hot and tasty cheese and tomato sandwich, accompanied by a very decent cup of coffee, just like BA used to serve! It was free. There was also the opportunity to watch BBC World News live on the seat back screen. The long flight to London offered no entertainment and the overpriced, low grade menu, which does no good to either BA's brand or M&S's. The coffee is now instant and undrinkable and the hot equivalent of what I experienced for free on Turkish was stodgy, soggy, overcooked and tasteless. If I hadn't been really hungry, I would have pressed the call button, handed back the scalding microwaved package and asked for my money back.

Staff used to be embarrassed and apologetic about the food, now they greet complaints with a shrug. That demonstrates that management has not only badly degraded the customer experience; it has also trashed a culture of passion for customer satisfaction to one of disinterest. If the consequence is worker unrest, management truly deserves it.

I think BA's problems are so deep and fundamental - there's doesn't seem to be a single part of the organisation that really care about customers. I try where ever possible to not fly BA and am annoyed when I have to. Most airlines are very poor at customer service but BA take their disregard for customers to a new level.
