Maybe if the airline ‘s staff (Iberia) was on time and showed up for their flights, the company would not be out so much money, as getting bad reviews for its service ( lack of) and cost of compensating passengers as well as loss of business due to bad experiences.

Totally agree . The calculation of the airport charges based on the capital outlay is ludicrous . Total incentive to just spend unnecessary massive amounts and no incentive to provide value for money for airlines and customers .
