There is ample space for both and more "clusters" along with the some what dated provincial model of tour guide monitoring we now have. Any tourism product development with appeal is desperately needed in SA so to start a debate by protecting turf or institutions and structures is going to be counter productive in a world where "changes & adaptability" is the only way to survive and to thrive. We need less red tape, more open minds, innovation and space for entrepreneurs new product and to work in an environment where they grow tours. Is not going to happen through the mostly unsuccessful bureaucratic legislation and structures we currently work under. Alan Roxton Wiggill: Tourism Destination Specialist
