In point the Retirement Visa, As a foreign National I am entitled to a 50% bond to buy property, I can have a bank account, I can own freehold property, I can buy and be a member of a private medical scheme, I can buy and won a car, we spend money in your country in the local shops and restaurants we bring our families to visit on holidays, we employ local staff to help in the garden and the house all these great points encourage people to come and retire in your beautiful country..... then the VISA... my wife and I need to show a pensionable income of R37,000 each per month to be entitled to a Retirement Visa. So sorry guys we will have to see our piece of paradise next year and head back home as our pensions will not match your requirement...
