To be realistic, besides the real selfie tourist, that only carries his or her cell phone for photography ALL OTHER safari travellers will easily pass those luggage restrictions. And taking a tripod along, can be of all dimensions but the lightweight ones are pretty standard for serious amateur photographers. When clients carry lighting and props and heavy duty tripods, then surely they need to make prior arrangements. We would.
