I agree - since the mid 80s airlines (LCC) have been 'pressurized' to throw in the towel & every time rumours about 'underhand tactics' have done the rounds - my suggestion is that the tax payer should have a say i.e. the QUESTION to taxpayers should be: 'Would you prefer your hard earned tax money to prop up SAA or ANY LCC'? louis-THE-lawyer

Again, let's have ABSOLUTE clarity and transparency on this. As an industry that has been supporting Cemair I feel we deserve to know what its transgressions are, what it proposed to do about them and why the SACAA has refused its solutions, grounding an airline in peak season and leaving passengers stranded. Enough of the cloak and dagger drama, let's have some actual information and answers to our questions.
