Suggestion #1 sounds like Mr Wiest wants to see suppliers increasing rates for other players in the industry but not for Tourvest as wholesale tour operator with their existing contracts. But he's happy for other channels to be faced with rates increases by suppliers. OTA's and OTO's are not going to look kindly on such a suggestion.

Well - if I look at an open later previously posted by one material OTA which encouraged such increases I would think that they dont have the same challenge that is experienced in a static rate distribution channel
