I can remember my dad taking me to them concert when I was 12 or 13. It was a wild place for a kid to be but he didn't think much about it. They had chicks practically nude in cages, drinking during the set and showered the crowd with beer and liquor. We were sitting in the "grass" seats which was more entertaining since everyone was smoking weed and stumbling around. It was a great time and have been a 2 live crew fan ever since. Condolences to Mr. Won family. RIP

loved 2 Live Crew.they were the best....my mom hated them but my step father was the one that got me to love them.we weren't allowed to play it at home if my mom was home.I believe I might still have my 2 Live Crew cassette tape around here some where.I might have to dig it out and play it for my son.he thinks our rap was stupid and the stuff they listen to today is the greatest.

Dam I was in Jr High jamming to these guys back in 92-93 even my mom who passed away last month June 9th Marion Ohio would jam to these guys often while cleaning house.

😭. So saddened by this news! 2LiveCrew was the 2nd concert I went to! ( 1st being Ozzie ) One hell of of show and worth every penny! I was snuck in by my uncle who worked @ the arena 2LiveCrew & Ozzy were preforming at. I and others hid after show let out due to fighting and gunshots.

2 Live Crew is the main reason Parental Advisory labels exist. They had some of the biggest hip hop hits in the 80's. They were headline news around the world for being banned and later winning a massive 1st amendment rights court battle. Please let us know when you achieve half of those things. We'll call you a legend too.
