Those are some insane contributions to your pension in just one year! Great job. You'll be FI in no time.

I can definitely see the appeal in investing in some off-the-wall things. Even though I know that a global index tracker is probably the best thing for me, I can't help but want to try out a few other things! So far I've limited myself to just experimenting with Ratesetter, but the temptation is strong.

All the best with your upcoming wedding and honeymoon!

Thanks for the detailed post! Very informative and fun to read. I had never heard the term matched betting! Have to try that out by myself :)

Hey SN

Happy 1 year birthday - great numbers all round, insane savings rate!

What have your gubbed accounts been restricted to as most of my EW betting is with restricted accounts (restricted depending on odds and race)? Guess it would be hard to move to small stakes from what you were betting but it's still doable.

Anyway, all the best with the forthcoming wedding and honeymoon, and good luck with the Tesla stock which you will be owning imminently! :-)

Those are impressive results over just a year!! I'm impressed - and just a little jealous haha :) Wishing you all the best on your wedding and honeymoon!

Thanks Mindy! :)

The returns on your investments are insane.
Do you have any pointers how you've invested your ISA and pension? I'm getting 10x less returns on PensionBee and Lloyds.

It's in Vanguard LifeStrategy 100% equity accumulator fund, or similar. Vanguards history graphs show the returns. Get your money in low-cost index trackers!

Exciting times, best of luck with the wedding and honeymoon. Even if those 3.7 years to Fi become 13.7, it's still very, very early. Breaking 100k is a nice barrier, the first is by far the hardest.
