Thank you TFS :) And thanks for being the first person to comment on the new site! I'm hoping it won't fall over when publishing the first post here for this months Saving Report; it's much better to work with so far as it's all static markdown files.

Going well so far, the excitement is starting to wane a little bit and we're in the period where we don't quite feel settled yet but almost, but we're used to this feeling as we had it in Sweden. That feeling only really went away in Sweden with a mixture of time passing, and buying our own place, hopefully it will be quicker to pass here :)

I definitely have a pros and cons of the US with a comparison to the UK and Sweden style post. We got our car registered yesterday, so we can actually go out and explore now :) Hold tight for a month or so while we calibrate the new expenses! Maybe I can do a mini one soon, and save the big comparison until it has been 1 year of living here.

I was going to re-invest into Tesla now they're low, but I think Alphabet is a better and less risky bet now.

I'm pretty bullish on Google, I think they've diversified so well with Google Cloud Platform, YouTube, and Search that they're basically unstoppable. I personally think they're the best cloud platform provider too, my company uses it and it's so much better than Amazon Web Services.

I don't see any reason they shouldn't surpass Apple. I'm also really bullish on SpaceX, and they're private, but one of their biggest investors is Alphabet, so you get to own SpaceX a little by proxy :)
