Yeah, you're right. If I got laid off when it was too late for Mrs to travel, we may have even lost health insurance and had to pay a lot of money to have the baby there.
We may be moving up north in the coming months, will be closer to you, maybe we can grab a pint?

Congrats on reaching a million this year, it is a great achievement, it is just astonishing to watch how your portfolio has grown so fast. I wish I would have taken the global tracker approach since day one, I would have probably reached one million by now and could be millionaire buddies! ;-P
The timing for the baby wasn't the best, but could have been worse. Just imagine you get laid off after the baby was born, and then it is the three of you that need to relocate back into the UK...
Hope you can find balance and be a bit happier in 2025.
